I really enjoyed my lunch break here at El Nuevo Pio Pio Cafe. The waitress was super and didn’t miss a beat when it came to taking our order or serving us. I ordered the oxtails and fried plantains, and was very please with the out come. It also came with a house salad with home made vinegar sauce that was delicious made by the boss her self. I am definitely please with the food/service at this place and hope this can help someone else enjoy it as well

VERY LOUD MUSIC INSIDE. Couldn’t even have a conversation at your table. Service was slow considering there were only 5 tables and 3 were already preparing to leave. Food took over 45 minutes to be served and by this time we were the only table that had not been served. We had 3 cuban sandwiches which don’t take that long to prepare. Waitresses were more interested in flirting with male customers than serving their tables. Sandwiches were tasty but a bit dry and not worth the 45 minute wait. A COVID surcharge was added to tab without explanation as to why.

The service is horrible. The waitress gave us attitude. We came in to take a quick bite to eat and we have been siting for 15 minutes and no one attended us. The waitress is on her phone.I really do not recommend this place. I recommend that you go somewhere else that serves dominican food.
