Texas bbq’s is what you do when visiting or just passing throughTexas. Ordered bbq sandwich, potato salad & baked beans and I must say, we throughly enjoyed the meal with all the fixings. Sauce is tasty and service was friendly. #TEAMSMILEY

We stopped in for lunch and I must say that this is the best BBQ I have ever had in Texas. The ribs were falling off the bone and the baked beans were to die for they were so good let’s not forget the coleslaw it was perfect. We had blackberry dumplings and peach cobbler Both were the best I ever had and I’m 74. I strongly recommend you stop by if you’re hungry and want a good meal the price is very reasonable and they also serve fried catfish but we didn’t order any.

Stopped here for the first time and WOW! I was impressed. I had turkey, potato salad and the Beans. It was so good! Hubby loved the sliced beef. Great food, Super clean inside and very sweet staff.

The pulled pork and brisket are fantastic, the blackberry cobbler is incredible, but the best part of our stop in on the road was our lovely waitress Erin! She was one of the highlights of our cross country trip. Thanks!

Had the chopped beef sandwich meal. The meat was, best in a long time. The flavor was not sweet as ,a lot are. Tender to eat. Beans were excellent: not heavily sweetened. Then we had the blackberry cobbler. Haven’t had that good of cobbler since granny’s. Highly recommend.

Group of 3 had the catfish. I’m not picky about food at all but is was not good. No seasoning and had a burnt oil taste. If we go back we will try the bbq. For almost $80 with the tip I could have gotten better catfish at a gas station for way less. Staff was nice and the wait was short. Strange with all the good reviews.

I love Jim’s! The fish is consistently great. Ive tasted the peach cobbler and barbecued chicken and they’re pretty good too. The marinade for the fish is great and has a little kick. I have never had a bad experience here. If you like hush puppies order a few extra, because they are delicious as well…especially with their coleslaw.

Friendly staff, excellent service, and food that was amazing! I got the combination plate with beef, chicken and pork ribs, and it was so good! Definitely plan on returning! Going to make this a once a month trip! So very worth it! Mid range price for excellent quality food with exceptional taste!
