Anytime I’m home I have to stop here for BBQ. The best smoked chicken and ribs. I don’t eat pork unless it’s Poppa’s. Best smoked leg quarters you’ll find. Great sauce with a little kick (spicy). Thank you guys for the great BBQ.

First time trying BBQ in Thomson and I must say this really was 5 stars today. I had the bbq and rib plate with Mac n cheese and baked beans and my husband had the quarter chicken with coleslaw and green beans. We both really enjoyed our plates. We will definitely go back for more!!!

We were recommended this place by a local and WOW! I don’t know how they put their flavors together, but it was brilliant. The ribs are tender, and they fall right off the bone. The fat was perfectly rendered, but have that beautiful crust. The rub was savory and Smokey, not overpowering, but perfect. And the BBQ sauce was sweet and vinegary (again, not in an overpowering way) and when you put the sauce and ribs together it was a beautiful marriage. They were definitely made for each other. And the flavor combos kept your taste buds entertained. The sides were delicious as well. But the best part was the customer service. They are so sweet. We enjoyed our experience too much to get a picture. Just go look at their website, the pictures are accurate. We will have to find a way back to try the chicken and other offerings.

They were out of ribs and rib tips when we went so we had to settle for the chicken. Chicken was dry with absolutely no flavor and the sides (baked beans & mac) were mediocre. The cake seemed stale and the sweet tea was barely even sweet. The best thing we got was a cup of lemonade. I rarely leave reviews but this had to be said. $30 down the drain. Really had high hopes, but this was definitely a fail.

This is not a real BBQ joint. This is more of a bad backyard experience than a proper restaurant. Ribs were scrawny, yet flavorful for what they were. Chopped pork looked like it had been through a food processor. Sides all looked canned and were nothing to return for.

We have lived in the Augusta area for 5 years and we cant believe were just not finding this place! To say we are picky bbq eaters is an understatement. I have a long lime of chefs in my family and bbq is one thing we know. My husband and I agree the ribs here are some of the best weve ever eaten. They have flavor, no bad after taste and you can tell they were pit cooked. We will be back..actually we will probably be back tomorrow with parents!
