My wife and I are from out of town and this establishment is beside the hotel we are staying at. It is kind of hard finding a great BBQ restaurant nowadays, but this place has very tasty and delicious main courses as well as sides. The flavor from the smoker was very present and it was amazing! We had the pulled pork and Brisket sandwiches and they were a 15/10, just absolutely delicious. The BBQ sauce choices were awesome too. The bathrooms and dining areas were clean and tidy. The waitress (Isabella) was very nice as well as the gentleman that sat us, we didn’t catch his name, but he was really nice! Thank you guys for the delicious meal! We will definitely be back here next time we are in town!

Next door to the Drury Inn. Bono’s right next door so had to try it – service excellent just like everybody else says. However – ordered salad and was told a few minutes later “they were out”. I don’t understand how a restaurant at dinner time is out of salad. Oh well. Went with the green chiles side order which I don’t order often but it was luke warm at best so I asked is this normal – and was told it should be hot so it went back. Baked beans were great smoked turkey also good. Tried the banana pudding but was loaded with whipping cream which I worked around. I feel they should give me the option if I want whipped cream or not – as it never mentioned it came loaded with that. Hope and waiting to see if the manager reads this and responds to my comments.

Went in for lunch and really enjoyed their fried okra and the brisket! Tried the pulled pork and fried corn on the cob. The banana pudding is okay but not amazing. One 2 meat platter is enough for 2 meals for me.

The smoked wings were awesome! Isabella was sweet, kind, and the best to talk to.

BBQ preferences are a pretty personal thing. That said, the ribs fell off the bone and while everything was cooked well (aside from the sweet potato that was severely over cooked), the flavors just weren’t to my preference. I prefer sauces that lean toward vinegary flavors. A couple of theirs were definitely mustard based and the other two I’m not sure – I just didn’t care for any of them. Again, it smells great in here, ambience and service is good. One of our guests loved their sausage sandwich. Their wings were delicious – but their Buffalo sauce is definitely hotter than expected. That said, my husband liked their sauces and flavors. So it’s back to personal preference. Oh! And just be aware their online menu shows items they don’t carry in house, such as fried squash or homemade cobbler. Those were also a big disappointment for me.

I had Bonos barbecue this week for the very first time. The owner Jesse (I think that was her name) was very wonderful.

Everyone says its hard to find good BBQ in Colorado but that’s simply not true, especially at Bono’s. I have to admit, it took me a while to get here, but now that I have been, it’s on my list of places to frequent. I have had the wings, the turkey, the brisket, and the pork. They have all been on point, tasty, and tender. The meat compliments the sides which are equally on point. If you must have one side, have the fried corn on the cob. It is the absolute best.

I Love this place wish there was one in aurora. Tender flavorful great price. I didn’t like the banana pudding. It was just pudding. It did come with 4 vanilla waffers though. Friendly staff. The take out line was super busy. There was no wait for dining in. Will be back for sure

Service was terrible food was okay the place looks nice though. We had to ask for refills. Chicken was raw. The fried corn was good.

Today we sat down to lunch. Server was very nice and polite. We got our food which tastes okay. Then it was ruined by a roach crawling out on the table. Lunch was over. We told server, she then called manager who showed no concern for us, only was concerned about others hearing the server blurt out there roaches. We left hungry and sick to our stomachs. We will not be going back and I will warn everyone I know not to eat here.
