We stopped in for a light and easy lunch. The cups, plates and napkins made us chuckle. We ordered a small aloha pizza and drinks, and it was the perfect amount of food for a light bite. There’s a parking lot (off of north S Ridgeline) right beside the restaurant with access to a front and back entrance to Hot Box. There’s a nice patio area, but we opted to enjoy the AC.

We came to Indianapolis for a little weekend fun with the kids. We arrived late to the hotel so we decided to just order pizza. Hotbox had decent reviews and was open late so we decided to give it a try. We ordered and the guy was easy and pleasant on the phone. He said about 50 minutes but it got to us in like 35 minutes. The food was wonderful the whole family ate and really liked it different from the normal domino’s or pizza hut. Much better flavor.

Driver showed up well before the expected delivery time, which was great since it was originally quoted close to an hour. Driver ensured that our stix were made perfect even with special requests. Shortly after we sat down noticed that our sauces were missing. Not a huge deal. Moments later the driver showed back up, sauces in hand. Said he got back to the store and realized they were still in his car. Wish I had gotten his name but he definitely turned any potential negative experience around, without having to make any calls or anything. Will definitely continue ordering from this location in the future.

Absolute garbage! This is the worst pizza I have ever had! The delivery guy was super nice, but the $45 dollars that I spent was NOT worth it. Guess Indy should stick to cars because they don’t know pizza!

Staff here is excellent! From the moment we came in there was someone paying attention to us. We were able to take our time with the menu and discuss options even on a busy Friday night. The pizza fairly decent and the price was excellent! And the entire family large pizza bread sticks and drinks for around 20 bucks.

The manager (I believe his name is Ethan) has absolutely no sense of customer service. I was slightly irritated that I was transferred (with no notice and had to repeat myself instead of the previous associate briefing the manager on the situation) and couldn’t get a simple question answered as to whether this location delivered to my address. So, rather than apologize and/or take ownership for the poor communication and inconvenience, the manager says “calm down, sir” in a very snide tone. I was finally able to place an order after being transferred to the GM and once it arrived (to their credit, in fairly timely manner), the pizza was very underwhelming. I spent $30+ for a large pizza (seems more like a medium compared to competitors), breadsticks and 2 drinks (not 2 liters, just 2 small drinks) on a supposed special, and I feel that I got ripped off. The pizza was very mediocre and the breadsticks are very bland (nothing special at all). I’m all for paying for quality, but I definitely did not feel I got value for my dollar. I rarely EVER write reviews, but given the poor customer service along with the lackluster pizza, I felt compelled to share my experience. I will NEVER order from this place again!

This pizza chain especially the one in Carmel Indiana is a joke. They evidently have no knowledge of what their business is and even though presented with a valid coupon and after telling me on the phone that they would honor the coupon once they seen a picture of it they did not and claimed that the coupon was fraud. I would highly suggest you do not do business with this particular pizza business. Whether the coupon is fake or not should not fall to the consumer as it was being offered at PRM deal.com. You would be much better off going to basbo Pizza Greeks Pizza donatos or Pizza King. There is no integrity from the owner to the GM down to the manager to the counter help that assured me on the phone before I drove up after placing my order that this coupon would be honored

By far one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a pizza delivery. We are visiting from Michigan and staying at a nearby hotel, when we placed our order on the website we received confirmation and an estimated delivery time about an hour from when we ordered, no problem there. However, the pizza didn’t actually arrive until 2 hours later. When we called to check on the status we were offered a meal coupon (which does us no good since we are from out of state) and were told that the delivery driver had left 15 min prior and it would be here soon. When it finally arrived it was stone cold, we attempted to warm the pizza up in the microwave to eat it but it tasted like cardboard, and none of the dipping sauces that we would have paid extra for were included. We called back to speak with the manager who eventually voided the order but was not at all apologetic for the service. We ended up going out to pick up food from somewhere else at 11pm at night because it had taken so long for delivery and the quality of the pizza was sub par. Needless to say if we are ever back in Indianapolis this place will be on our “never again” list of restaurants.

Saturday night 11/2 order large pizza with sticks. They said it would be an 1 hr to delivered. So it was passed 2 hrs and I called and the guy on phone copped an attitude that I was checking on my pizza and said it would just be there. I said if it doesn’t come soon I’m going to cancel and go else where. He was not helpful and only offered attitude. (Very female sounding guy).

Great pizza! And you want to know what I really love about Hot Box Pizza is the fact that they give a 50% discount to military veterans. Now that’s a real discount and shows appreciation. Thank you for that hot box Pizza, that truly shows me you appreciate the sacrifice we veterans have made.
