We stopped to try the food on Monday on our way south, then we were thrilled when on our way back home our route took us right past again so we stopped back. We both had the same burgers and we tried a new shake flavor. We absolutely loved the food both times, the drive in atmosphere, and the servers. Everyone was super nice and friendly, it definitely is a place we want to visit again.

It was gross. I haven’t had Don’s since highschool so I figured I’d stop there for old times sake. Ordered perch basket it was thee tiniest filets I’ve ever seen. The chilli on the fries and hot dogs tasted sour. The rootbeer tasted like seltzer water sprayed with root beer flavoring. My daughter’s chicken strips tasted freezer burnt. Never again . The waitress was nice but the food was tasteless and disgusting. We threw everything away.

Sad,,,,could be a great place for car hop service with nostalgic history,,, but sadly no. This place suffers from poor management. Too many items on the menu, frozen and poor quality. Poor quality ice cream products. Portion size bad…..Why not do a few things really well?? …..I will not be stopping again. Sad.

Ordered banana split. Changed chocolate topping to another because chocolate is a migraine trigger for me. I couldn’t believe they charged me a dollar extra. The locals call it Don’s dump for a reason. Plus he raised his prices…again. I won’t waste my time or money there again.

An old fashioned car hop drive in. Ordered the barbeque pork (DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!). The pork was like it had been run through a blender with an orange colored tomato sauce. It was barely edible.
