Coming from Malibu and LA, this restaurant is outstanding! Everything we sampled for dinner, happy hour, and breakfast was excellent. Kudos to the chef and the great service we received from Lorena and others. Amazing Brussels, fish tacos, guacamole , curry mussels, and best pork chop of my life. Breakfast is also super satisfying with mega chorizo burrito and a Benedict w corn scallion like pancakes. The food definitely amped and enhanced our experience here as we were excited to try the next meal. We ended up staying on property second night to dine here again instead of town. The whole hotel is newly remodeled and beautiful w oceanfront rooms a fraction of price of what you’d find in malibu or LA. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PS don’t forget the strawberry smoothie and fried strawberry hand pie. Also, live music is a beautiful touch on some evenings. Happy hour is awesome!

Had a great experience dining here with my husband, they treated us like a family, chef Damien is very innovative and cares about being local and authentic, had great Service too, I am posting this a bit late I think the server name was Sergio, he was great, they all are. We loved the ox dish, beet salad with goat cheese and halibut was delicious too.

Seating: We made a reservation for dinner, party of 7. We were told our size party didn’t have a table ready, but the party ahead of us, same size, who did not have a reservation, did get a table prepared. Essentially, it was almost like they gave our table away even though we were there on time. My husband had to go and remind them that we were here and ensure that we got seated.

We had a large group of 15. Please take note that for large groups of 8 or more you are restricted to a handful of menu items to which a reason wasn’t really provided. I will say that certain items that were off menu, we were allowed to get so much appreciation to our server Odalys! Drinks were ok but the restaurant/hotel is gorgeous.

For the price that you pay it’s honestly not worth it. Long wait to be seated even though it’s not busy at all. It is beautiful inside though.

On a Saturday evening, 80% of the tables are empty, and we were told there was not enough staff to serve us. We are staying at the resort, it’s dinner time, and our kids are hungry. The only other restaurant here doesn’t allow kids after 5pm. I guess we have to drive to McDonald’s or something. This place is charging us a daily resort fee and won’t spend enough to staff their main restaurant on a Saturday. Unbelievable.

Called and was told they had a Mother’s Day brunch and was given a 9:45 reservation. Upon arriving we were told told brunch did not start until 11. Our day was planned around the 9:45 reservation so we after the manager promised their breakfast was great we decided to stay. The server was nice but slow, the food selection was very very limited , took forever to get and was not very good at all.
