Food was average compared to other airport restaurants. Service was terrible. There were six TV in the room. Waitress switched the TV channel I was watching to a channel which is the same as the one on the next screen, then tried to take away my dish when I still have one sushi to finish. Looks like she is eager to get customers out of door as soon as possible. Then on the bill a 15% tip was added even though I am dining alone. Is that even legal? How can it be a tip if it’s forced upon you? I don’t have high expectations for airport restaurants but this experience set a new low.

Food is ok. Service is just so so. They brought us the bill without being asked for and we were still working on our meal. Apparently they still have plenty of seats available but looks like they wanted us to leave right away. They also charged 15% tips automatically.

I had a great meal (chicken yakisoba) and a tasty beverage. The food was fast and delicious! Jake was an excellent bartender/server and was very helpful and kind. I really appreciated that the TVs at the bar were playing three very different types of programming including motorsports racing and nature shows- I will happily return!

4.5. The sushi here was quite good, but it was SO expensive for what I got. $41 for a salmon and cream cheese roll, plus a 2 pc eel Nigri and a drink seems a bit steep. Still, it was definitely well-made, and if you’re going to buy a meal in Anchorage, Sushi on the Fly is pretty solid.

Would’ve love to have eaten here. However the waitress told us it was gonna be a wait. Which we were fine with. I stepped away to use the bathroom and she gave the table immediately to the people standing behind us when we waited 45 mins…worst customer service ever!
