Burrito was great! Apastor was delicious, not greasy at all, salsa was “spicy” very good, my new spot to go for lunch.

Tortillas hand made are the bomb! Rice and beans have a unique flavor. Definitely not Baja California or northern Mexico style flavor. Must be special home style flavor. Or this batch was not made correctly. Pretty pricey but they load you up with food. Customer service is top notch! If I came back here it would be for the tacos and quesadillas.

Pretty good selection of meats in sauce (i.e.chile Verde, Chile con puerco). I had the carne asada was not that impressed with the cesina thought. The carne asada tacos were pretty good though. They do double hand made tortilla.

El Picante Mexican Food was a culinary letdown. The food lacked any discernible flavor or seasoning, resulting in a bland and uninspiring dining experience. The menu promised exciting combinations and unique flavors, but the reality was far from it. Additionally, the prices were exorbitant for the quality of food received, making it a poor value for money.

To me, this place now has the best burrito when compared with Taquerias Guadalajara, Taqueria Los Sanchez, Taqueria Tapatia, and Taqueria Zamora. All these places are good. I used to like this place 3rd of the taqueria’s mentioned, but now it’s my favorite when it comes to burritos. I haven’t tried anything else yet. When ordering burrito pollo, they cook and chop the chicken when you order versus having the chicken already out and just scoop and place on the Tortilla. This place is not a good atmosphere to eat in, take out is recommended. This place is a ma&pa owned restaurant and I can tell they have pride in their cooking. I’ll be back soon.
