Eddie’s has gone down really bad. I ordered 3 pair large male fried crabs. $12.99 a pair…There were only 2 crabs that the meat could be eaten. All the crabs were medium so they added a few more instead of saying they didn’t have Lg. Males. 1 was a female, 3 had ammonia smell and 1 was extremely mushy. This is my FINAL time purchasing from them. I ordered two weeks ago by delivery and it was the same result. I thought me going directly there it would be different.

Was exited to get some fried crabs some this spot. The service was good but the crabs, crab cake and steamed shrimp that I ordered lack flavor. Everything was just bland not seasoned very well at all. Very very disappointed after spending almost $90.

Wish I could put zero stars. What seafood place doesn’t let you look at your food before you buy. Dude was rude acted like blue crabs are just male crabs and orange is female. All blue crabs become orange. Even the people after me left without crabs because we waited 20 minutes after 2pm. Supposedly website says 12 but sign says 11am. Call talked to a lady. Place needs to be shut down. Smelled like a STD THAT NEEDS ANTIBIOTIC. STAY AWAY

I purchased a dozen fried and a dozen stem crabs. When I opened a fried crab there was a strong sour order. I thought maybe just a bad crab. Opening more of fried and stem crabs I was very disappointed.I try to support black owned businesses but sometimes it’s almost impossible. Had I looked at the reviews like I normally do. This wouldn’t have happened. Listening to a past customer from years ago.Please don’t serve people something you wouldn’t eat yourself! No I’m not making another trip to correct something that shouldn’t have happened. I don’t mind paying for good products in this case,what a waste. Lesson learned. I will never recommend Eddie’s to anyone. They should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of the community and people’s hard earned money. Nothing good will come from that. Please don’t chance this place. Go elsewhere. Just disgusting representation of a minority owned business.

I Call first it was told large males was 55 a dozen when I got here the young man said it was 60 . The large males are not large at all. The meat is dry and it’s not tasty. A strange taste.,I threw them away and will never go there again. A waste of money

I tried this place because they had crabs on a day my other normal places did not. BIG MISTAKE. They were mud crabs. As in NC sewage line crabs which makes them smell and taste like sewage. Those types of crabs have to be purged and these definitely had not been. Many of them were female and i paid for males as well as many were dead when cooked so the meat was nothing but mush. Stay away!!!

I will never ever ever try this place again!!! My daughter wanted some fried crabs and I paid fifty some dollars for them from this establishment. When we got them and started eating them it literally had no taste, no flavor, no nothing. All we got was mussy crabs and some vinegar type oil to go with it. Crabs were hard as a rock

The quality of this place has severely went down the drain over the years, mostly due to extremely rude “management” and I use that term very loosely. I remember the line being out the door when I was younger, now it’s time to close the door.
