Boom! An explosion of different tastes and a mere food orgasm! If you have not tried Sobo’s – YOU MUST! The friendliest service (I am still mad at myself that I did not get her name – she was phenomenal – blond hair and glasses!), the best of food and it was a great setting! I had the lobster bisque, bourbon oysters, waguy sliders and the panacotta dessert. My husband had the chili soup (he said the best in his whole life) and the crab dip. THIS PLACE IS A MUST ON YOUR LIST! I can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu next time I cross that corner of MD!

Second dinner in the past few months and we are convinced that this is one of the best restaurants in Salisbury. I’m not a flat bread fan but the flat bread app was incredible. Half dozens Chincoteague oysters were great as well. Wine and drinks were excellent. I got the scallops dinner and it was phenomenal…highly recommended. I didn’t like the Smith Island Cake choices- would recommend keeping the traditional as a main stay….so we got the tiramisu. It was their interpretation of said dessert….it was good but would have rather had the original on that one as well. The ambiance is great and the wait staff is top notch. 4.6 or 4.7 rating is accurate.

My husband and I went here for our date night. Oh let’s start from the beginning. We were greeted by a very nice host who quickly seated us. We were seated at a dirty table. Looking around I noticed crumbs on most of the tables. The waitress took forever getting over to us. We were the only people seated at a table, the few other people in there were at the bar. We ordered our food which took a long time to come out and be luke warm in some spots and extremely hot in others…. Almost as though it had been microwaved. Our entrees were mediocre at best, The entrees only covered half the plate and the sides were an additional $8.00. With minimal options on the menu. I ordered dessert, which was the creme brulee, it was good but the pomegranate puree at the bottom was a bit overbearing. The place was nicely decorated and had a good vibe. I can see where drinking there would be fun. I would never return to eat though. Our total was $91+. Considering I drank water and my hubby had a Pepsi, entrees only filled half the plate, wayyy over priced sides should be included, and one dessert it was simply not worth it

Nice relaxing atmosphere. A bit expensive, but the food was delicious. They have a nice variety of food to choose as well as a seasonal cocktail menu and large selection of wine. Very friendly staff. They also serve some of Maryland’s famous Smith Island cakes. I would definitely suggest it to friends and would go back.

Love the atmosphere. Great customer service. I got the Wagyu burger and fries. Plenty of choices but i wanted a good burger. My only complaint is that they changed their French fries from old style to pigtail fries and they were seasoned too much. I couldn’t eat them.

We started off with tomatoe bisque soup of the day. It was creamy, flavorful, and delicious. Then we shared the corn cob salad. It was fresh & crispy. For dinner… I ordered the scallop entree, which was amazing & my husband ordered the flank steak entree; he loved it. Both were scrumptious and cooked to perfection. Our dessert was lemon, Smith Island cake, which was very moist & tasty. Our Server Alicia was attentive & really fantastic! Dinner couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend Sobo’s!! Went there with friends & family for dinner. When I walked in at 7 PM, it was chilly inside. Because it was warm outside, I didn’t wear a jacket, just a short sleeve UA polo. It continued to get cooler for the next hour. I imagine the mgmt was expecting the happy hour crowd to heat the place up, but the temp didn’t change, so I was uncomfortable during dinner.
