Just ordered a whole chicken with rice and beans with plantain. The chicken was tasteless and dry not to mention Luke warm. The rice and beans… I mean the rice and a few beans.. come on why stuff the container with rice and lay some beans on top. We felt ripped off. Very dissatisfied.

Serviceable chicken, not great sauces. In this region there are a lot of Peruvian chicken places. It is easy to find much better than this one. The menu claimed homemade tortillas. They weren’t I watch them pull them out the bag. The menu claimed homemade crema it did not taste like it.

I really enjoyed the food at Silvestre’s, but their prices have become outrageous. I was waiting on my food one day and a lady mentioned how high their prices had gone up and the employee said they had gone up only 50 cents. I understand now that lady’s complaint, they have definitely gone up more than 50 cents. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, my menu said it was$8.95. I called my order in and was told my total was $12 and some change. I figured I had an old menu. My husband picked it up for me and when he got home the price was $13.99. So I went online to find an updated menu which I did and it was priced $11.95. If it was 11.95, the $12 total given to me over the phone would make sense. Now where the $13.99 price came from I have no idea. I feel like we’re being dupped and the quality of the food has declined. There are too many other Peruvian chicken/Authentic Mexican places with better food and cheaper prices. I can go elsewhere if these prices keep increasing.

I used to love eating here but recently it’s gone downhill. If you order here, expect to wait over half an hour for your food. Their prices are ridiculous now, and the portions are even smaller than they were before! Not coming back here for a while.
