Seems to have been recently remodeled. Service was good, time waiting for the food was good, current menu pictures are very accurate to what I got, price was fine for portion size. I liked the menu and how it was structured. Food was only okay, the white fish taco’s white fish wasn’t the greatest, and the sides were only okay at best.

Fresh and delicious, casual and clean. Cajun salmon and cauliflower mash were a perfect lunch combination with an order of coconut shrimp to start it off. Easygoing vibe and sunny wait staff. Great place to grab a quick bite or catch up with an old friend.

Fries undercooked. Rice not seasoned, very bland. Ordered grilled fish tacos and receieved fried that were like frozen fish sticks. This used to be a great place to eat. New decor nice. Higher prices. Had two incredible cooks but one is gone. No kids menu anymore. Sad to pay so much and put food in the garbage.

We came for the “zucchini soup” as we call it. Disappointed to discover that this is no longer Surf City Fish Grill. It’s now Surf City Fish Tacos. We walked in & the cashier was less than friendly. She just stood there looking at me. No greeting of any kind. I gave her my order, she input it to the machine & walked away to the pickup counter & started building a carryout box & order. My husband who was clearly with me hadn’t ordered & she hadn’t totalled my order – just walked away & left us hanging. We should have left then.

Great place for outstanding fish ‘n chips! Perfectly done in a light beer batter with French fries on the side. Lots of fresh fish entrees and everything is so delicious! Small place with laid back atmosphere, but a varied menu–not only fish–with lots of choices. The staff is on point and very nice. You won’t be disappointed!!
