My husband and I ate there over a year ago when we first moved to Hertford. The buffet was unimpressive and overly priced so we ordered from the menu. The food was very bland and reminded me of the quality you get inpatient at a medical facility. It was awful! The waitress never came to the table to ask us how our meal was nor to refill our drinks. I had to call for her when my glass was empty as she was more interested in entertaining and catering to a group that were probably regulars. The cashier did ask us how our food was and I told her I was not impressed as I left most of it still on the plate and I also told her that the best thing on my plate were the hush puppies. To that she replied “sorry maybe it will be better next time” We told her there would be no next time. Too far to drive for sub par food and dining experience. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Place has gone to the dogs . Been shorted on to go orders for 1 lb of shrimp more times then I can count. Now they don’t even serve steamed shrimp and they claim to be a seafood restaurant. Service is in professional as workers only to seem worry about regulars. New management is slowly driving the place into the dirt. Quality of food has drastically changed from decent to down right laughable. I can not recommed this to anyone. But that won’t be nessasary because I have a feeling they will be closed up in the near future. Eat cat food…its probably better.

Worst Buffet I have ever seen for a Seafood Buffet. Didn’t have no steam shrimp except cold ones that were previously frozen. Crab legs are $10 bucks extra for a pound . Had some boney perch for fish. I’d say they had about 5 items on their 1Buffet bar ,Oysters ,Scallops and dried up crabcakes made of 90 meal. Everythings frozen and flash fried , nothing fresh . The vegetables consisted of some sliced boiled potatoes and some string beans. Everything they had was previously frozen and mushie. Couldn’t get into the tiny steam shrimp, they would fall apart in your fingers trying to unwrap them. Oh they did have some BBQ that they are so proud of. Dont know why,? it was old frozen BBQ. Cant believe we drove 50 miles for that. The price was $ 17.99 and that didn’t include your drink so make it $ 20 bucks each. Dont be fooled by their pictures they advertise either. The place is actually a metal garage with about 10 roll up garage doors in it. I can see why the locals think its so great that’s all they have in that town.. Wont have to worry about seeing me at that place again.
