This was a very sad place. The good really wasn’t that good and they didn’t have menu options. We were told they had run out of the meat for their signature burrito last week and it is Thursday already of the following week. The wait staff was friendly but didn’t stay on us without asking for additional beverage refills. The Pork Chili Burrito that I ordered wasn’t good. I’m not sure what the meat spice combo was but it seemed similar to cumin but the volume used was 4 parts to one part meat. I think this placed used to be good but it seems like that has passed. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 11:30 on a weekday.

I am beyond disappointed, this used to be a favorite spot. I ordered for express delivery and waited an hour beyond the expected delivery time. The nachos showed up with about three strands of shredded cheese, and a mix of ground beef (that had NO flavor) and chicken- asked for just chicken. The chimichanga came with about 1 tsp of guacamole and sour cream and the chicken was so tough I could barely chew it. I will not be eating here again and I’m very annoyed at what I payed for this terrible experience.

It is downtown so expect for the prices to reflect it.

I’ve been going to Don Luis on & off for ten years, but it’s been a while since moving away from Billings, went last night & it’s great to see some things have not changed. Warmly greeted & quickly seated. Our waitress was lovely & the vibe is still authentic & colorful. You can tell the employees are a family and get along. And of course the good was 5 star. The ingredients were fresh & the meals were delicious. Will be back!

We thought the food was delicious. We had an appetizer called the Trio. Oh wow, the queso! It’s fantastic. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp and the pork rice bowl. So good.

Only thing good about restaurant was our waitress. Food horrible, atmosphere horrible. Was much better in 2016-17. Will not recommend to friends or family!

Terrible! Found out that there are new owners. The food was terrible. They charge for chips and salsa, and we were shocked when we tried the salsa because it was made with parsley and not cilantro. The owner argued with us when we told her it was parsley she tried charging us for hot sauce we asked for with our lunch and never took that nasty salsa and chips from a bag off of our bill.

The chip and salsa was great. The chips were not greasy. No salt which is good. Salsa has a bit to it. I ordered the Indian taco with rice. First time here and I love it.
