This restaurant is right in my neighborhood. Family from out of town came to visit, and we ate here after a movie. From the time I called, was greeted, sat, and waited on, to the quality of the food and customer service. Red Sake is easily a favorite not just in Ballantyne, but in Charlotte all together. I will be back soon!

My experience was great. I ordered the Red Sake & Robinson rolls and thoroughly enjoyed both. I also ordered the crab Rangoon and would recommend passing on that. I love crab Rangoon and like to try it at each place I visit- this one was underwhelming for me. It was busy when we arrived so we ate at the bar. The bartender was attentive and kind. We’d definitely eat here again.

Had a nice first time visit. We ordered the Ballantyne, Black Jack, Pink Lady and California rolls. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The crab rangoon was dry, I do not recommend that. Usually an after thought, the ginger was excellent. It’s not a large place, so would recommend reservations or calling ahead, especially on weekends.

Restaurant was clean. Loved that there wasn’t loud music so eight of us could talk and hear everyone without using a loud voice. Air conditioning was right. Not so cold you needed a sweater. Service was wonderful. Never an empty water glass. Most had sushi. They finished all of it. I had beef and scallops. Fresh vegetables a plus. Scallops done perfectly. Good fried rice. Not over salted. Large food and alcohol menu. I’m sure we will return.
