We started with a beer and a cocktail. I had the house soup and my girlfriend had New England clam chowder. Both excellent. We split the peel and eat shrimp. Good, could have used old bay seasoning. She had the crab cake sandwich with Jumbo lump crab meat and I had the Rib eye. Both excellent. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The bread was amazing. Just a touch of sweetness. The mashed potatoes were delicious. I ran restaurants for over 25 years. Service was excellent. Intelligent, funny, Knew the ingredients, suggested appetizers and entrees. Promoted the specials. Owner stopped by the table, as well as the server to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend Bud’s.

We had the most delightful lunch. The food was wonderful, but the service was even better. I wish I could remember our server’s name because she was terrific. The best ever!!! I have driven by Bud’s often but never stopped in. I am going to make it a favorite from now on.

Excellent experience as a first timer. Ken, Nikki and the entire restaurant family were incredible! The medium rare cheeseburger and fries where the best I’ve had in a long time. Having worked in the restaurant biz for 10yrs myself…this place touches all the bases…definitely coming back!

We had a great dinner with really nice service on a Saturday night. The Duck Confit was the best thing we had, its excellent. The Elk Chop was delicious & the Catfish special was ok…it wasn’t bad at all, but bland by comparison, it’s accompanying Spinach Risotto was very good though. The Bread Pudding is delicious, very light with a little crisp to it, I’d prefer it w/o the chocolate though.

We had a lovely dinner at Bud’s. The cream of crab soup was possibly best I’ve ever had. We had crab cake and ribeye for entrees – everything was superb. Ambiance was quaint, not noisy and laid back. Wonderful for date night or company dinner. Highly recommend!

I attended a concert at Buds featuring Gary Ferguson. It was an awesome concert worth 2 other great musicians….Marc MacGlasan and Dave Norris. It was a very friendly atmosphere, owners were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was not only delicious, but an extremely appealing display.

Brooke was our server last night and she was Absolutely Phenomenal, she was super friendly with our two little ones, made sure they were happy and taken care of right away, this is a rarity in fine dining, at least from our experience, she went above and beyond to totally Wow us, buy I’m pretty sure she treats every table like royalty. Such a great guest experience, very knowledgeable on the menu, the food in general, very friendly and attentive, the food was Outstanding. The Best Crab Cakes I’ve had in a long time. The Oysters, Amazing, and the Halibut, Delicious!
