I decided to go try this restaurant from a friend’s recommendation. The first impression was that the doors needs some windex. Upon entering, I smelled the dirty carpet. However, I must say putting those two things aside the food was excellent and the service was just as good. I will be going back, but OWNER please, please wash the front door and perhaps you can replace the carpets. I smelled carpet while eating my dinner.

I’m done with this place. I’ve been ordering from Shen’s for over 20 years, but it’s clear they’ve just completely given up. The front half of the restaurant is now used for storing inventory on the tables and booths, which sends a clear message: “People don’t eat here anymore”. We were told our takeout order would be 20 minutes and it was actually nearly 40. We were actually told on the phone to hurry because they now close at 8. Meanwhile the restaurant was dead. Finally got the food home and it was absolutely the worst it’s ever been. General’s chicken was flavorless with no spice and barely any sauce. Pork fried rice completely bland and I had to soak it in soy sauce just to taste something. Pan fried dumplings were dry and burnt. Egg rolls also flavorless. Over $100 for takeout for 4 and it was all terrible. Shut it down, Mr. Shen. It’s time, because this was just sad. You used to be the best, but this was the worst.

Worst Chinese food ever! Worst quality fried rice, tasted like plastic rice. Very poor quality food. Restaurant is old, dated and dingy. Carpet smells- unclean etc Won’t go any further-they need to do better.
