Amazing!!! Spelunker’s cuts its own fries, grinds its own beef, makes its own custard and WOW can you ever tell in the final product. But the most amazing thing is the service. My wife and I are from out of town, and we’re taking some time to figure out what to order. The gentlemen running register noticed and asked if we’d ever been, we said no so he welcomed us – and then when our food was ready personally brought it to our table, told us how the burgers are made, pointed out the boxes of fresh potatoes, and encouraged us to finish our meal with homemade custard. Exceptional service!

While visiting friends near Front Royal, it was suggested we stop and eat at Spelunkers. We are so glad we did . I was dragging a trailer, so parking was an issue , but I parked across the road . It was packed , so that was a good clue it might be worth it. The line was long, and most of the tables were taken . Surprisingly, it didn’t take us long to order, and we were able to find a table . I ordered the cavern burger with fries , and my wife got the cheese steak sandwich. We each got a milkshake, chocolate, and a peanut butter . I can say enough how good our food was . I never knew this place was there, and I travel through Front Royal all the time . I can say the service was fast and everyone was very friendly. As busy as they were, I am sure the staff would be tired by the end of the evening. We will be back for sure . Thanks for a great meal .

Definitely the best chicken Philly sandwich I have ever had. Will definitely be my go to spot even though it’s 30 miles away. The burgers and fries are super good. Custard was creamy and delicious. The restrooms were clean. Dining room was super clean . Still awesome. Service and food are excellent.

Food is really good, fresh meat daily, frozen custard made daily. Fresh cut fries, you can get chili and cheese on your fries. The frozen custard is good. Very busy and dated.

My husband and I went through the drive thru. The chocolate shake was amazing and we’d definitely come back for that. The burger, while delicious, was a heart attack on a plate as the grease was abundant. Lovely to support a local business!

Place didn’t look that busy from outside but it was packed on inside. The burger was greasy but was soooo delicious. I didn’t have the ice cream but a lot of people was getting it. I would definitely recommend this place if your passing by.
