We decided to see what this 328 Grill inside the American Legion in St Paul Park was all about. Social media had been having a lot of posts about its good burgers. It’s your typical American Legion setup and feel but their menu has a handful of burgers. I had the Rodeo burger which honestly wasn’t good at all. Way to much barbecue source turned it into a sloppy mess. The fries were one of three varieties offered and were just your basics seasoned frozen ones. Some sort of dill infused burger was ordered

Great hidden gem!! Wife got the No Reservations and I went for the Fo Cheesy. Both fantastic burgers, especially the No Reservations. Tots were really well-made too.

We found this place from a page we follow on Facebook so we had to try it. This is set in the American Legion in St Paul Paul Park. Your standard Legion older tables and chairs. Everyone seems to know everyone. We started out with the buffalo fries. This is house fries topped with chicken tenders, buffalo sauce, and ranch. This was so flavorful. The fries had an amazing flavor with a good crunch. The buffalo sauce was rich and spicy. The chicken tenders were fried to perfection with a good crunch. The ranch pulled it all together. One of my favorites. We also tried the tater tot hot dish soup. I’m not a soup guy but this was so amazing. Great flavor with a touch of sweetness from the corn. We shared the Fo’ cheezy burger. A perfectly seasoned burger with American, cheddar and pepper jack cheese sitting in between 2 pieces of Parmesan crusted sour dough bread. This bread was so delicious! Amazing flavor in every bite. We also shared the burger of the week, shorty don’t play. This is their signature short rib brisket, chuck Patty top with braised short ribs, in gravy and white cheddar cheese on a grilled brioche bun with herb mayo. It is sloppy in every bite and so delicious. Every bite from start to finish is flavorful and messy. For sides we got the cajun tots as well as regular. Nice crispy crunch with well seasoned flavors. Chef Mil German is a master at burgers. Our server Amy was a rockstar. Great knowledge of menu and very attentive to customers needs.

I had the 328 burger. Food is very taste. I have eaten here twice with a group of people. Everyone liked their selections. The chicken sandwich was amazing and the 328 was excellent. The meat is quality cuts. Their French fries and seasoned tots are a must to try. Price was pretty reasonable. Atmosphere is lacking but when the food is this good I don’t care about the atmosphere. I recommend trying the 328.

Located in a typical American Legion serving not so typical burgers and sandwiches. Been following them for a while on Facebook group called MSP Burgers and was finally able to take a couple clients out to lunch there. If I live closer I would be there quite frequently keep it up guys!

Huge shoutout to the Chefs at 328 ! My husband, son and i came in on Monday to try a burger for the first time after just learning of this place . I got the No reservation burger , my husband the 328 with bacon and my son the not my first rodeo burger all with Cajun fries and these burgers literally are the best burger we have ever had period! Every bite we were moaning like weirdos lol ! The Cajun fries were amazing and these cheese curds ! This will be somewhere we come hopefully for years ! Kudos to you guys!

I heard amazing things about this place and the fo’ cheesy did not disappoint. However, there wasn’t anything super unique about the flavors. If you are looking for a common flavored burger that is heightened (by the fo’ cheesy option of course), this is the place for you. Buffalo fries were good too. If you are fearful about spice though, I would try the basic option.

The best mushroom and Swiss burger ever! Wings were amazing! And they have 1919 Rootbeer! Service was slow, but worth the wait.

Food is fantastic and 100% worth the stop. Some of their burger creations, I dare say, rival King’s.
