First time I tried the place. And it was fantastic. Great food, close to campus, good service in reasonably priced! We will be back.

Where do I start… there’s just so many amazing qualities about Drunken Fish. I’ve tried everything on their menu after years of eating there. I’m not lying when I say I’d recommend anything and everything they offer. But if you’re looking for a recommendation, I’d start with the spicy lemongrass beef soup or spicy salted shrimp. Grab a sake or an imported beer while you’re dining too! So fun!

I’ve gone many times and the food is good every time. This time we got the steamed pork gyozas as an appetizer. It was good I could have enough more. I had the Red devil which is when you get to cook the marinated steak on a hot stone they bring to the table. It was fun and taste especially for the price. It also came with broccoli and white rice on the side. The chicken fried rice is okay to me but my boyfriend liked it.

The drunken fish has very quickly become my absolute favorite place to get pho. The broth is so flavorful and rich, and tastes really fresh. The noodles taste fresh, and are not stuck together in one hard clump that breaks when you go to eat it like many other places I’ve had in Louisiana. Their chili oil also tastes very fresh. It’s absolutely delicious. I attached a photo of the meatball pho, which I know is an acquired taste. Most would probably prefer a different beef cut, but I really love the meatballs here they’re tender and delicious. I have tried many of their appetizers too and have really enjoyed all but one of them (sorry, but your calamari is mush and I do not recommend it’s the one draw back I’ve found here) but the egg rolls are actually some of the best I’ve ever had. When I first saw them I thought to myself they’re tiny but when I bit in to them, they were actually the most densely packed egg rolls I’ve ever had, very meaty, and the size of them is perfect as they are very filling. Overall, between here and the west coast, this place has the best pho I’ve ever had in my life and is an absolute gem. I would give their pho 10 stars if I could! Staff has always been very friendly, kind, and attentive as well.

Not the best Japanese dining experience. Tuna sashimi was not edible; yellow tail and salmon were fine. Pho was standard. The rolls were good. No effort to comp the tuna and I also didn’t make a big deal about it. Staff rushed to clean up and close which ruined the dining experience. Unfortunately watching fish wrapped in paper towels ruined my experience.

Funky little Vietnamese/sushi joint right next to campus that we, our kids and our grandkids LOVE. We went on Sunday to celebrate our daughter-in-law’s tennis doubles state championship.

I ordered the Philadelphia roll and edamame and they gave me a miso soup for free! Made my night everything was delicious! I also asked for crunchy tempura flakes and they added it with no extra charge. Love this place

Always a yummy experience. Quality sushi, fresh and tasty. Sure wish they would bring back the elixir though as I loved that on my salad and to take home. The Drunken Fish and Naruto are my favorite rolls.
