It’s the place that has what you need when camping. Their cooked food menu is delicious and they offer all kinds of other needed things. Propane, kites, beer, ice cream cones. You can’t go wrong here. My wife and I just checked out our camp sites for later this month and in the summer and everything is awesome. The Reuben is top notch, perfect balance and the dog is worth the cost of admission too. Bring the kids! Bring your appetite! Bring your thirst! Beachcomber Cafe has you covered for your camping experience out on the island.

This place is a hidden gem in Fort Flagler State Park on the north end of Marrowstone Island. Maj-Britt Peacock (and her husband Jim) have built this park concession up over the last 15+ years. Its a great little place to grab a burger or dog for lunch. They also have espresso, soft ice cream, drinks and more. Breezy day? Grab a kite and have fun with the kids or just sit and play with their lego’s and enjoy an ice cream. If you’ve never been out to Flagler, its just a short drive from Port Townsend and a nice drive up the Island. Enjoy the views of Port Townsend across the bay or spend the day on the beach. Handicap passes enter the park for free (I don’t see passes on cars spending an hour in the park but a day pass is recommended to spend the day on the beach).

Cute fun little place. Open for takeout only summer of 2021 but still fun. A glass of wine and a salmon burger really hit the spot for me. The polish dog, recommended by the lady taking orders, was seriously amazing! Staff are friendly and fast.

I work at the kayak spot next door and all I can say is how fortunate and wonderful it is for Fort Flagler to have such a great shop and cafe. The little store is packed with camping supplies, a huge selection of kites (that I see flying often and look amazing), various snacks and drinks and all the souvenirs you would need. Their cafe/grill is such a hidden gem. My favorite is their reuben, though I’m a sucker for their espresso milkshake made with two shots of espresso. They have a nice little porch to eat at, or you can take their stuff to go and have a picnic overlooking Kilisut Harbor.

Great local spot on amazing kite beach. Discovery pass needed for extended parking here. Café hrs are 10-3, (summer 2023) They have ice (limit one bag) and firewood, espresso, soft serve, Italian soda, and some misc camping and food supplies.

It is a great place to go family camping or solo. The cafe opens early April now and is open till late-season. Doesn’t necessarily have everything you want but has a good selection to choose from plus firewood and ice. Hot food is an option here burgers hot dogs polish and a few sandwiches all good and decent priced. After enjoying a decent little meal you can stop and have a quick treat like ice cream or candy play a game of checkers or even horseshoes. If the kiddos have a nice there’s even a decent little playground just across the yard.

Food is pretty good, lots of seating around, nice lady, and their food comes from Costco which in my opinion is a guaranteed solid quality, no surprises there. Oh and prices are great.
