Went in there with intentions to only get the beef patty after seeing some not so pleasing reviews online. I was met with some great smells and a very clean environment. After seeing and smelling the hot steam from food, I decided to try it for myself because the food looked to good to not be good. And boy was I glad I did. The food was AMAZING. Got the jerk wings with rice and peas and veggie rice, cabbage and plantains all they all had the perfect taste. They also let u try some of the items on the menu to see if u like it before purchasing. Great food, great service. Will visit again.

This is the best tasting Caribbean food I’ve tasted outside of my wife. I will definitely be back. The place is very clean. Customers in and out. That means they make the food fresh. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Amazing find for a long haul truck driver like me.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! If you are looking for authentic Jamaican food come here. There is a woman and a man who are always there with beautiful smiles. Their spirits shout love and you know that this food will nourish your body in a way like never before. I see people’s comments about the price of the food and this is standard pricing for a quality Jamaican establishment (and they aren’t even high). The vibes and Jamaican music remind me of a spring days growing up on a beautiful day, music going and cool breezes flowing through the doors and windows. This place CONSISTENTLY brings joy to your soul and belly. Stop by and try everything it is all so so so good!

The food from this place has, I am not a critic by any standards, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this place is special. I Always Love Supporting Caribbean Restaurants, More So Because I Miss The Authentic Taste And Smells. Besides The Manager, She Is Argumentative & Combative. I Have Ordered Escovitch Fish From This Restaurant on 3 Different Occasion And Both Times Was Just Served Fried Fish. I Went Back The Next Day Complained, And Was Told It Wouldnt Happen Again, But Her We Are Again Today With Plain Unflavored Fried Fish. I Could Of Went To JJ’s Chicken & Seafood For Plain Fried Fish. You Cant Julian Vegetables & Place Them On Food And Call It Escovitch It Needs The Seasoning And the Vinegar. The Other Food Items Are Ok But Still Lack Much Flavor. They Have Lost My Business With Them, Since I Had To Explain How An Order Is Supposed To Be Made.

I was excited to have Caribbean restaurant in my area. The Brown stew chicken had zero flavor, heat or island spices at all. It tasted more like unseasoned barbecue. The rice and peas was not shelly or flavorful. The curry chicken was bad as well. I try again in a few months but no time soon. Anyone from the Caribbean will know exactly I’m talking about once they taste it

The staff were nice but the food wasn’t impressive. I’ve never had bland jerk chicken before. I even had a side of the jerk sauce but it was bad. I know that they are still new so maybe they are working through the cooks. The overall taste is what will make loyal customers so I hope they work things out.

Never in my life have I paid close to $30 for an oxtail plate. They are selective with portion sizes depending on who serves you and if you’re a man or woman. I was in line and the man ahead of me ordered the oxtail plate. The lady gave him at least 7-8 large oxtail pieces. Next for me, I ordered same thing (I’m a woman)—and the guy who is always up there served me and gave me around 3-4 oxtails. Smh. I didn’t know food service had become misogynistic. All in all, while the food was decent, it was surely not worth $28! Especially for the portion size they selectively serve. Also, they need better quality carry out containers. With hearty foods drenched in sauce, you can’t get a flimsy styrofoam container. Invest in the lidded containers that Chinese restaurants serve from. And please do better, don’t think because it’s “your ppl” that you can cut corners in quality.

Pretty good food but when they run out of plantains they make you pay for it and then tell you it’s a side gesture like “cornbread”. The menu literally says it comes with the meal. I wasn’t given any accommodation. Doubt I’ll return.
