We walked in and waited to be sat but no hostess came out. The sign said “Wait to be Seated”. Then someone, whom I thought was a waitress, waved us in. She was just a regular customer playing the jukebox that was blaring loud Spanish music. Her group, at one of the tables, were celebrating their friend’s birthday and were intoxicated, and singing at the top of their voices. We couldn’t hold a conversation, we had to shout to be heard. Finally a waitress showed up with menus and took our drink order. Another 40 minutes later, after having to listen to the loud music and singing, the waitress brought out one plate of food, room temperature, not hot, then 10 minutes later my order was brought out. My fried shrimp was so overcooked it was dark brown, and flavorless. My friend’s shrimp was floating in a very spicy sauce, almost inedible. Very noisy restaurant, too expensive for mediocre food, atmosphere, and service. Will never go back. I do not recommend.

So I leave a lot of good reviews but this place it just wow! We got the shrimp ceviche, oysters, fried red snapper and fried mojarras topped with octopus scallops and shrimp. We also both got the margarita bulldog which is basically a Corona rita but we got on the rocks not frozen, came with a full size corona not the tiny ones! The ceviche was so good and fresh, a lot of shrimp, well worth the price, plenty of hot sauce options to spice it up for any palette including 3 different habanero sauces. Both whole fishes were fried perfectly, crunchy, tender, seasoned well. I ate one half and was so proud I thought I finished it just to realize there was another half to this fish so we both had to take ours home but iv never been so excited for leftovers! Even just the beans and rice paired so well with the spicy sauce from the mojarras, the entire experience was one of the best iv had for a while. Friendly service, they do not rush you at all, very laid back environment with good music! Definitely reccomend for anyone looking for a unique and reasonably priced mariscos experience in Vegas. All of this was under $150.

I ordered the fish and shrimp soup to go. The taste of the soup was not bad, but I couldn’t ignore the fact that there was very little actual fish and shrimp. It was mostly water. In addition, it was obvious the fish and shrimp used was not of very good quality. I would normally ignore this fact, if it wasn’t for the price. It was overpriced given the quality of the soap. And the tortillas were obviously store bought, not freshly made.

The Shrimp Ceviche is amazing. It was fresh with nice chucks of shrimps and fresh veggies. We got the regular Shrimp Ceviche not the Casero. I love my Ceviche marinated in lime juice for a couple of hours, which is why I stayed away from the Casero Ceviche.

Every mariscos is going to have its different flavor, but the charolas that I’m used to (in San Pedro California, so 4 stars) were not here. This place is definitely geared toward individual entrées and not like full family meal packages. It’s comparatively priced, and the menu selection is wide, so there is something here for everyone, even a plain taco plate for the non-mariscos people.

If I could put Zero stars I would. Horrible service and still have audacity to add a 15% tip. I get we were a party of 8, but if u order a simple taco and burrito it should not take 1hr to get. Smh. And review is x 8 because my whole table feels the same.
