Some of the best Mexican food in the area. Much better than any taco truck around. Take a step off the beaten path and take a chance on this Pontiac restaurant gem! Great tacos, birria, al pastor, deshebrada. Great complimentary chips and salsas (4 of them!) to start your meal.

The torta de al pastor was one of the best I’ve tasted in the states. The bread was toasted and the toppings included just enough spice to make it make it noticable.

The hot hot sauce was tasty and the carnitas tacos were excellent. Service was good and the place was super clean. My first time here, usually I go to the Carnival Market or to Sheila’s, but Sheila’s is take out only now and don’t want to eat in the car. I want to try their pozole next time.

My first time here. So excited to try the real deal Mexican food. I ordered the nachos and let me tell you those were some of the best nachos I’ve ever had. That was until I remembered I had some red sauce to pour on top so I dumped it all over the top little did i know, it was HOT. Very very spicy. When the cashier asked me if I wanted red or green sauce I didn’t think about it too much since I was in a rush to get back to work so I said red but that was a mistake. Y’all need a way to let us foolish white people know that red sauce is not to be messed around with. Should change the name of it to El Muerte Rojo. I was fighting for my life but still eating it despite the fact it’s painful since it tastes so good. I will certainly be back here to try the gorditas and sopes and explore new dishes. Next time I will ask about the spiciness beforehand.

Staff was great. Food on the other hand not so much. I ordered a Cubana sandwich. Who would had inticipated authentic Mexican having craft singles cheese smothered on a bed of cheap hot dogs terrible
