I saw their giant halo halo on tiktok and saw they had a Memorial Day special, so we had to try it. I have never been, so I was excited. My mom and I ordered the pancit canton, kare kare, fried chicken, and crispy pata, their $75 special. We also later ordered the halo halo, what I came for .

There are lots of free parking spaces available. There is no valet service here. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Not too many tables here, os if you come with a big group, reservations is a must.

First time here although we pass by it all the time and we were parking to go to Panera however when I jumped out of the vehicle and this aroma of something so inviting had drawn me towards it. I didn’t know where it was leading me and then I realized it was Max’s restaurant. My husband always wanted to try their Filipino food but we ended up not going and here I find myself leading my husband there. I felt like that parrot on the cereal commercial… Just follow your noise lol. I wanted to try their oxtail but saw their famous fried whole chicken on the menu like what thaaa.. we ordered their mixed noodle pancit with shrimp and pork /no vegetables and steamed rice. I gotta tell you it was soooo tasty and delicious and I’ve tried other places but I think this is going to be our new spot. The staff was good and friendly.

the menu changed a bit and they had a few items unavailable, service became unclear if to order at the counter or when seated. were told one side of the restaurant people aren’t allowed to be seated there but noticed that some were able to, reserve placards should be placed to not cause the slight confusion. seems like the place is short of staff since the last time I visited. all in all the food was good but could use improvement.

I was very disappointed with this place. We were sat down with menus and then nothing for 20+ minutes. A family of 6 who sat in front had drinks first. Food was lacking in flavor. I did even eat my left overs.

I brought my elderly Mom here for lunch. To our surprise, they no longer serve adobo. They were out of other items such as diet Pepsi and the caramel bar. That happens. We ordered pancit bihon, minus pork and shrimp, adding chicken in their place. I was startled to see chicken cartilage and a bone; I’m just glad my Mom didn’t end up with it. I spent several minutes trying to pick through the dish trying to remove all the choking hazards. I pointed it out to our server who said she told the manager. She returned saying, “I told ‘him’. Sorry, but you did order chicken.” I guess that means they don’t care that you get bones. I paid the bill and headed for the door, only to be redirected to use the side door because they didn’t want to unlock the front door for a patron with limited mobility. I haven’t been here in quite some time, and probably won’t return for another long while. I’ll pay $35 for lunch at a place that cares more about their customers.

We had a celebration for my mother-in-law’s birthday by indoor dining, which is our first time during this COVID-19 pandemic. The dining area is small for walk-ins only; no reservations. With the menu on our mobile phones, we ordered pancit, Kare Kare, Max’s fried chicken and fish sisig. They were all delicious except for the fish sisig, which had an unfamiliar white sauce.
