We had a delicious take out dinner from The Taco Shack on Thursday. We got the Smokey Chicken Chipotle and Bacon Bowl and a Chicken Burrito. The bowl had just the right amount of kick from the spices. The burrito was packed with chicken and grilled vegetables (as requested).

The manager greeted us as soon as we walked in and was super friendly with everyone. The ordering kiosks were easy to navigate. The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection and was a decent quantity with great quality. The interior is spotless clean and cute. You can definitely tell the people in charge put a lot of care in this restaurant.

My boyfriend isn’t a very adventurous eater (and by adventurous I mean if it isn’t a burger, he doesn’t like it) but I picked this place for lunch stop on the way out of town. Don’t be fooled by it’s unassuming exterior, this place is worth a stop. The owner, Chris, was really nice and welcoming. We ordered nachos with beef and the fish tacos. Everything was fantastic, the boyfriend even finished my fish taco and exclaimed they were “actually really good”. We got there pretty early, probably 11:30ish and by the time we were done eating a crowd was starting to roll in. By the end of our 12-day trip across Northeast PA my boyfriend proclaimed that the Taco Shack was the best food that he’d had the entire trip!

This restaurant is a well hidden gem. The staff are amazing, attentative, kind, observant, and on top of their game. They honestly put “Taco Bell” to shame, that’s how good they are. I had their fried shrimp tacos, and they are beyond magnificent. Definitely my favorite place to go out to eat. ***Plus they are on Doordash as well!!! You will be kicking yourself in the a$$ if you don’t stop in here and give them a shot. . .
