I ordered at the counter and sat down at a table. Starting off everything looked good, fries were good and hot, salad was fresh and crisp, but the chicken was not cooked all the way through. Nobody checked with me to see if everything was alright. I left leaving the raw chicken (pics) on the plate.

I ate here for the second time and ordered the Bandeja Paisa and damn, it was delicious! It was like I was eating a Colombian full-English. I highly recommend it as a refreshing and exciting change from the average Midlothian dining fare. It’s not a busy location, and has nice patio seating with beer available there as well.

We stopped by on Sunday around noon which turned out to be there brunch menu. The menu consisted of Latin breakfast options and traditional American breakfast. I had the huevos rancheros which was really flavorful. It didn’t have ten traditional red sauce but a pepper and onion over the eggs that I really enjoyed. The black Ben’s and rice is phenomenal. My wife had the Salvadorian Breakfast and she was not disappointed. The plate included rice/beans, fried plantains, arepa , and other sides that she loved every single bite. My son had the kids menu with eggs, bacon, and a waffle. Everything is made from scratch which keep in mind because this is not fast food. Everyone was happy and we will definitely be back…. We debated coming back for dinner but it’ll have to wait until next weekend.

Second time eating here! Absolutely delicious! I had a mango mimosa which included chopped mango, strawberries and blueberries as well as the Salvadoran Breakfast which was delicious! Excellent and friendly service! Nice patio area as well!

I just ate here again and have never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to be accommodating. I got here early today and the cooks gave me free chips and salsa just because. Great experience.

I love Salsa Chicken. The owner Maria is the sweetest ever you will always feel like family. She’s worked so hard to listen to and read reviews and really take any criticism and constantly work to improve her restaurant and add new menu items. As a vegetarian, my favorite menu items are yucca and the veggie burger, both are absolutely amazing. They have the best fried yucca. The veggie burger i ordered was absolutely amazing (i went again today), there are toppings on the burger like pineapple that at first i wasn’t so sure of but it all worked so amazingly. My family who does eat meat also agreed that the veggie burger was absolutely wonderful, it has a toasted soft bun. Salsa Chicken has multiple vegetarian options. My family has ordered lots of other menu items such as the chicken and rice and tacos and they all annoyed their meals.

The service was excellent. Food was delicious. If you haven’t eaten here yet then put this place on your must try list. My husband got a quarter chicken with 2 sides & loved the dipping sauces. I had the chicken saltado.
