I never had a problem with this place till today. I got the chicken salad sandwich I get home, get half way through the sandwich and find a blonde hair in my sandwich. NEVER again will I eat here and it’s a shame because it was my go to whenever I was in the area. They’re too expensive anyway and there’s other places that have healthy options that is more affordable. There’s no excuse for this. I took two stars off because of this

One of the best places for some clean/quick/healthy food! The food was SO GOOD I traveled super far just to get it again. Zana was super helpful with the menu again upfront and her sister Rosa was super friendly. I live super far, but I’ll be back soon! It beats alot of restaurants in my book.

I used to get their acai bowls like 2-3 times a week they were so good. Now they blend it with something that just takes like blended up bananas and it tastes so bad and it’s never blended properly I’ve found multiple chunky mushy pieces of banana in my bowls the last 3 times I got it. I now learned to not go here for it anymore. I wish it was the same as it was it was easily the best açaí bowl around here.

My family & I are regulars at Way of Life Cafe & the managers there, GJ & Robbie, mentioned that “Food For Thought” in Garden City has the same menu. My daughter & I happened to be in the area recently during lunchtime & were so excited to dine there. What an amazing experience! “Food For Thought” is kept emaculate, has a gorgeous decor & is situated in a very quaint & lovely area. The managers & employees are super friendly & most accommodating. Any meal can be customized to your taste. I ordered the honey mustard chicken salad without the wrap & my daughter ordered her usual chicken quesadilla & chocolate cake. Both of our meals were prepared to perfection, tasted incredible & were generously portioned. Everything is healthy (GF, DF & Vegan options) and prices are reasonable. Can’t wait to dine there again soon! Highly recommend to everyone!!!!

Food for thought has always been my go-to meal before Panera Bread. I now order online where it is absolutely NEVER right. I get a bowl usually and I’ve always asked for two sauces in and BOTH on the side as well. There was one time they didn’t put ANY sauce on OR include extra. It was so bland and hard to stomach as someone who notoriously is not a vegetable person. The other time again NO SAUCE on the food BUT they included only ONE of the TWO sauces. In this order however, my smoothie didn’t have fro-yo or mango AND there was no cheese or red onions in my bowl. I’ve never had this problem until I ordered online which I have to because of my new job.

Ordered $90 worth of Uber eats. 3 of the Thai Zinger didn’t have the sweet chili sauce which made it bland. And they replaced a calypso lemonade with sugar free lemonade. When I called to speak to someone she advised she can only give me back 10% of the order.

I ordered a smoothie, there was lots of parking in the back, I walked in and was greeted with a bright smiling good morning from the associate behind the counter… she mentioned the smoothie I got was her favorite; I was on my way back out in less than 30 seconds (I did Apple Pay on line).
