Pricey & under seasoned food. The expericence was nice with the live music, but the food wasn’t worth it. Most of the dishes are under seasoned or not seasoned at all. 85$/person is way too high for what we got. Wine pairing was 40$/person.. it’s 4 pours of 4oz max, regular wines, nothing awesome. They were pushy on my wife to get something to drink, they asked her 3 times. Also, we were sitting on super cheap plastic table, very uncomfortable. After a while I was able to get a better chair, I dont think I would have stand the chair for the 2h30 session

Absolutely unreal Italian food. I had a profoundly good nine course meal, all based on chef selection Each dish was a delite.

My wife and I visited Artigiano for the two-person chef’s choice dinner on Saturday night. Enjoyed the quality of the food and the ambiance — featuring a small, outdoor, roofed patio and a live jazz trio. A friendly server kept bringing course after course of small plates, containing antipasti, various pasta dishes, and a concluding plate of braised meat dishes. Each dish was well-cooked, well-seasoned, and delicious. Portions were on the small side for each dish, but the total amount of food was just about right for me and my wife. Price was on the high side for a food truck experience, but reasonable for a multi-course Italian meal of this quality.

I had an amazing dinner here. I don’t normally eat some of the foods that were served, but I enjoyed every single dish. I will definently be going back.

Insane prices and it’s essentially a food cart. The courses are small and while the “course” meal is interesting, it doesn’t fit the experience. If it was in a “fine” dining setting it would make sense but it’s not. The red pasta sauce for example was bland and the noodles were over cooked. The shrimp was again like the pasta, overcooked. Some of the other “courses” were not appetizing to my pallet unfortunately.

Great dining experience and incredible food. It is a little pricey a I guess but it’s a long service with multiple courses, lots of wine, and it’s expected of you to take your time. Personally, I think it ends up being a really good value for money. Plan to spend 2 hours or more there. Relax, get comfortable, and enjoy the experience. The chef, Rachel is fantastic and the food they pump out of their food truck is impressive. It’s a simple, fun night on the patio.

Artigiano is a perfectly executed, fresh-food Portland take on the little hole in the wall you dream of finding while wandering the streets of Rome.

Artigiano is my favorite place to eat in all of Portland! A must if you’re visiting. Well worth any extra effort. Tip: (Best option is doing the “Family Feast” with friends!)

Not a great experience. Wife and I ate here on a Thursday evening in September 2021. Some of the dishes were okay but pretty much everything was under seasoned and/or undercooked. Though they were “accommodating” to vegetarians, the veggie variations of the mains were ….a virtual duplicate of a bad salad served earlier and a frittata. The service was never great but once the place filled up, the service was slow enough that it bordered on nonexistent. Would not recommend as there are so many other great options nearby. And if you are only craving fresh Italian food, go to Gumba.
