Killer spot for apres – the drinks, bands, and views are all top notch. Plus there’s a loft above the bandstand with an additional bar, which is simply super cool.

Fun and spacious bar right off the mountain. Perfect for grabbing a quick bite and some food after a day of shredding with friends/family. Lots of local beer options. The sugarloaf decor was a big plus for me.

great beer selection and if you’re a fried pickles lover the “fried pickle spears” is your dream!! it’s like a hot basket of fries but they’re pickles!! *drool* i didn’t give it a full five stars because i only had the pickles and a beer, but i bet other things are good too!

Good beers good food good atmosphere. Bouncers/bartenders need to be trained better. I am in my mid twenties and was told my ID was fake on multiple occasions (I’m from out of state, but come on, they should know). Unnecessarily stressful

It’s okay. It’s basically your typical ski resort bar and grill restaurant. The food is good enough and a bit on the pricey side. I’ve had worse ski resort food. One of the soups was actually good. The service was on the slow side, it took a while to get food (ordered two times because we weren’t sure how much we wanted to eat) and finally the bill. It’s convenient as it’s nearly ski in.

Under new ownership and the answer is “no”. We were interrogated and harassed about having our entire party ready to be seated for lunch when the room was fairly empty. We were then attacked by the host (after having been seated by someone else) where he challenged if we seated ourselves. The other hostess actually had to come over and verify that she seated us. Our waitress told us that they have gotten many complaints about him but yet he still works here. And oh by the way, he wore sunglasses inside the restaurant the entire time. We asked for a few changes to our order where we were met with a sigh from the waitress. We were told we could only have the burger medium well-no other option. When someone in our party asked for a plate larger than a thimble for her food, she was told that was all she could have. Very disappointed that a place that used to be fun to hang out in for lunch or apres ski has become a restaurant of “no”.

Small menu and not a great place for a quick bite and getting back on the mountain. Usually an hour to an hour and a half to finish your meal and get back on the mountain. the tap list is good and the live music makes it a good place to gather

Bummed about the middle bar getting removed along with the pool table & big buck Hunter. The 1 star is for the service.. or lack thereof. Our waitress was Lacy, I think? She didn’t introduce herself or ask if we wanted anything. We asked 3 times for menus and all we received were dirty looks. The Widowmaker isn’t the place it used to be – Please hire waitresses that actually want to help customers. The bar staff was great and the band was pretty good.
