American Whiskey is conveniently located right next to the Prudential Center and is a great spot to have dinner or drinks before or after a game. You can’t get any closer to the entrance of the stadium than here. The pizza, surprisingly enough, was fantastic!

Came in before the rock the rock concert. Seated immediately. Drinks took a bit for a beer and mixed drink. Was a very nice bourbon and beer menu but lacked on the food choices. Ordered a salad and burger. The salad we chose not to get blue cheese crumbles in the salad but the waitress thought we didn’t want dressing. Took a bit to find her and correct our order. Food was good, ordered a second round and left.

If you’re visiting from out of town and attending an event at Prudential Center, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO BEFORE & AFTER! The bar staff is top tier- always making sure you are taken care of! The owner is always around, checking on guests and making sure everyone is happy. Great drinks, great food, and an amazing atmosphere! You’ll regret not stopping by!

Admittedly, I did not eat here but from what I could tell the food looked to be standard pub fare, however, the drinks flowed nicely. American Whiskey, located directly across the street from the Prudential Center, is jam packed after a Devils game and the atmosphere probably depends upon whether the team won or lost (on this night the visiting fans were happy). Definitely worth a stop on your walk back to the hotel.

Came in before a concert and was seated immediately. Sat us near the waitstaff’s ordering and supply station. The owner, male with a ponytail, yelled at staff the entire time we were seated and was disinterested that patrons were around witnessing this. He was extremely rude, yelling in their faces and made one of his waitstaff cry. I was absolutely mortified for her and no person should ever be spoken to in sure manner. I will never go back there again. The owner does not deserve anyone’s business! Shame on him! The waitstaff however were AMAZING!

First off the owner Frank and staff members made us feel right at home! They all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time! Pizza was great, drinks were cold, atmosphere was unreal. We had so much fun that we came back 4x during our stay. We were in town for the UFC fight and went here for the after party, and 3 UFC fighters came to the place including the light heavyweight champion! What a weekend! Thank you Frank and Staff !

My friends and I had a BALL! The bartender named Anthony was awesome and makes great drinks. I had the pizza and mozzarella sticks which were both really yum. Will def go back when in town!

I am appalled by everything about this place. This past Sunday prior to the Devils game, I stopped in to have a celebratory birthday drink with a family member. We ordered the worst food known to man and drinks. After ordering a second round and needing to send it back as it was atrocious, I witnessed a bartender storm off in anger. After receiving a second (corrected) drink, it was just as bad but I never sent it back due to how aggressive and intimidating the staff were. I was informed that the server needed to drop the check even though I had just received my drink. The server was intimidating, unfriendly, and rude when we ordered our drinks originally. After my family member got up from the table for a minute, some dude in a jacket came over and informed me that I needed to get up from the table within two minutes (they had just collected the check not even five minutes prior and I wasn’t even close to finishing my drink) as they had a “long waitlist.” I was told that I could stand at a bar if I needed to. I went over to the bar and was pushed around and glared at by staff (apparently I was in the way) as I was waiting for my family member. I have a physical disability which makes it difficult for me to stand for long periods of time. I didn’t finish my $12 drink, because I couldn’t continue standing. Upon leaving, I witnessed another table still finishing their drinks. They had no food, but they were just chatting and finishing up their drinks without any issue. I want my money back. You should be ashamed. I will not be returning. Do NOT waste your money at this scummy place.
