It takes a Haitian to really tell you how good or bad the food is. And honestly this is by far one of the best I’ve come across. Reminds me of my mom’s cooking. I was skeptical at first because some of the review but gave it a try on Uber eats. And I am definitely happy that I did order. I have the strew turkey with rice. It was accompanied by a side salad and fried plantains. Very pleased with my order

I would give 5 stars for the fact that the place is updated, the food is in the front behind a clear counter, and they take credit/debit cards. So It’s very fast to order food and to get it. But the taste or quality of the food is not always great. If they hire better cooks, they can get five stars!

This is the best Haitian food spot in North Miami. I love the fast service, especially when I placed my order over the phone. I came in and the food was already done and ready for me. I enjoy eating the Caribbean stew fish or fried among many other dishes I love from Universe Restaurant.

I ordered the fried chicken and plantains and it was not good. Well the plantains were good but the chicken was way undercooked and inedible. I checked the reviews before i ordered and they aren’t bad, I don’t know if they were in a rush that day or what but my experience was bad. I ordered from the ubereats app.

The food here use to be good but not so much anymore. I use to drive all down from sunrise for their Mac n cheese but now it’s not do good. It’s dry with no taste at all.
