Moved to Chicago from LA had been craving cemitas and I happened to see a video on tiktok of this spot. Got the cemita poblana and it was great. The milanesa tasted fresh and the salsas in the salsa bar are amazing just like my mom makes them . Service was great. They offer tortilla chips but they charge; they’re not complimentary lol. Definitely coming back.

I usually come here during lunchtime, and I usually get good service, but today I was very disappointed, I got 9 tacos three tacos had to be thrown to the garbage, which was the 2 golden medium tripe tacos and a chorizo taco, the two golden medium tripe tacos were not good at all they were super!! Chewy! and the chorizo taco was very salty!! My husband usually eats anything lol but this was very salty. But anyways, so I called the place which I never like to do I usually just deal with it, but these were three tacos that I did not eat and were thrown to the garbage at the end because I called the taco place and the lady that was working today 04/21/2023 I don’t know her name it was a chubby lady with black hair, when I was talking to her, first of all I order a chorizo with cheese taco but maybe she didn’t understand or maybe she was right I didn’t tell her so I wasn’t going to argue because she told me I didn’t order that and then I tell her that that taco was very salty she keeps trying to say something back saying that’s how they make them ‍♀️ then I tell her about the other 2 tacos that was super chewy she answers back once again something else to say that’s how they are usually those type of tacos are very chewy, AND like I said I frequently go there, and no! I never had them like that but I didn’t wanna continue arguing because I could see we weren’t gonna get no where, all I want to her is to understand that the tacos I PAID for weren’t good, and I hate throwing away food and money to the garbage. She was so defensive everything I told her she wanted to argue about so I guess the only solution is not going back. What makes me more mad is that Hispanic people are like this with their own people!!! I know that if it was a white person they would’ve said bring that back and will make new tacos for you or probably give them their money back. I’m only giving one star because the only good thing was the salsas

The staff was friendly and food was delicious. However the building is super outdated, and very small. Only sits about 10 parties maximum. Menu has a lot to choose from, and they also have a mini salsa bar which you can pick salsas from.

Wow! Where do I begin?! I’ve been to every single taqueria in Aurora. I’ve had countless tacos de lengua! NONE come close to the lengua I ate from Cemitas today! I EVEN HAD TO CALL THEM AND COMPLIMENT THE FOOD! I’m blown the bleeeep away w/their tacos de lengua!!! Bravo!! Compliments to the chef! ‍ ‍ ❤️The cherry on top…freshly made churros!!❤️❤️

Wow, talk about a wonderful find! Ordered the chips and guacamole- the guac was made to order, fresh fresh fresh and so good! I had the gigante quesadilla with half and half : flor de calabasa and nopales and mushrooms. Best quesadilla I ever had. No canned mushrooms here!! Only the best! Fresh sliced mushrooms. Nice big serving of a side of rice and frijoles. My partner had the burrito de carne asada. Nothing to disappoint, everything was fresh to order, delicious and filling. So happy I found this place, cute little place with attention to detail. Everything was excellent, thank you so much!!

The cemita arabes is so good. The chipotle sauce used is sweet and just perfect. This place is a whole in the wall gem. Dont let the bright yellow paint job keep u out. The horchatta has the perfect cinnamon/ sweetness.
