I was excited to try Tony Locos since there are not that many Puerto Rican Restaurants. Although the service and the Ambiance were enjoyable, I was overall dissatisfied with the food. There was an overall lack of seasoning. Very bland. We ordered the Garlic Shrimp Mofongo and the the Pernil Sandwhich. The Mofongo was dry and had consistency of sticky breadcrumbs. The shrimp and sauce lacked flavor and dish left something to be desired. The pernil sandwich required more lime and time to absorb flavor. I could not differentiate it from common pulled pork sandwich. If you’re looking for Puerto Rican Food I would suggest saving up for a family weekend trip. Though I will not be retuning I can say that this restaurant has great potential.

I am from Puerto Rico and I have to tell you this is one of the worst mofongo and pastelon I have ever had. It doesnt even look like pastelon. Google a foto. That is not what they serve. One bite and had to throw it away.

Really love the food and vibe of this place. Good selection of taps, coconut shrimp tacos excellent, and our waitress was a sweetheart. All the food we tried was great… and a lot more items we haven’t yet, but can’t wait to try. Definitely coming back to this place.

I walked in without many expectations, but was pleasantly surprised with what I found! The menu was a bit confusing and all over the place, but everything came out shockingly good. I would’ve expected a menu spread that thin to have lacked in quality, but nobody was disappointed with their meal. We had the calamari, Buffalo wings, tacos, gnocchi, and layered plantains. Very impressive for a place with such wide options!
