The food was gross. I could get better wings at Walmart. I ordered 10 Wings. As soon as I ordered them I heard a freezer door open and shut. After that I heard the wings being deep fried. The wings were very dry and the meat was bouncy

Was planning on going here tonight and ended up at Qdoba because the “recently confirmed” hours on Google indicated they were closed until 11am Wednesday (tomorrow). If you’re set on it, I recommend driving by. Alternatively, accurate hours might improve business revenue, if anyone is interested in that.

Passing through Brooking and Came to Backyard BBQ for lunch with a coworker and it wasn’t great and it wasn’t bad, I had the two meat, brisket and chicken with French fries. I would have preferred my brisket sliced but he didn’t give the option and it didn’t specify that I was getting two sandwich’s (didn’t care for the bread.

This place is an absolute joke!! We walked in today at 7pm and the manager said they are only doing to go orders BECAUSE HE HAS ALOT OF HOMEOWORK TO DO!! PATHETIC EXCUSE!! They close at 7:30. There was plenty of time to sit down. Won’t be back again!!

Great food. Female workers on 02/02/23 we’re great. The guy was extremely rude and makes me second think ever returning. Struggled to carry out my drinks and he asked if I’d like a drink carrier. I said, “That’d be great!” He tossed a carrier towards my direction and snidely said, “You could have just asked.” I didn’t even think about it nor did I think it was an option. Snarky remarks like that are unnecessary especially when your customer is being cordial.

I had the three meat combo, brisket and pulled pork sliders, three pork ribs with mac n cheese and cornbread. The pork was on the dry side, the brisket had more of a pot roast flavor, and the ribs were a little tough and still had the silver skin on the back of them. All three types of meat seemed light on smoke, and if it weren’t for the different BBQ sauces to amp up the flavor, the flavor of the meat was on the dull side. The mac n cheese had a kick, but the cheese sauce had the texture of chalky powder cheese sauce. However, the cornbread was on point, sweat, moist, and tasted great. Overall, not bad for a small-town BBQ joint.
