The food was okay. My rice was very dry and had no flavor. Once I put the sauce from the stew chicken on top of the rice..it was okay. Maybe I should have asked for extra sauce. My plantain was chewy…so I tossed that…I did like the texture of the chicken in the stew .. .but not so much the jerk chicken..it was over cook or old ..not sure. There was zero spiciness to the meal and very bland cabbage.

I went yesterday, which was a Sunday. I was very surprised that I was open first of all because I know most southern food Jamaican food in African places are closed on Sunday. I ordered the ox tail plate. The young lady at the cash register was very nice. She did let me know. They was only accepting cash. The food came out fast and I can definitely say it was delicious. The oxtails were tender. The plantain with caramelized in very sweet I loved it. The rice and peas was season well, and it was enough gravy from the ox tail to put on the rice. Cabbage was fresh and clean. Didn’t have any signs of mold or mildew like a lot of places.

It is more of a take out establishment with a few tables, however the food is best eaten at home anyways. When you get done eating these platters of heaven you will need to lay down and contemplate the meaning of life. So Good.

My first visit–the Jerk Chicken was amazing and the service was even better!! I ordered an oxtail dinner to go and had it the next day! It was so good!! I highly recommend this place; they were busy and I understand why! I will be back!!!!

Whomever is cooking the food definitely has blessed hands because the oxtails are always on point. The only suggestion I have is that they need and option for white meat (breast or some wings) only. My spouse likes white meat so he goes to another spot that I kindly won’t name but won’t be visiting anymore to get white meat only but it’s not as good as Blessed at all. Anywho I love the oxtails here they fall off the bone so tasty.

This place is phenomenal. Truly one of the best places in LA for Jamaican cuisine. The oxtail and curry goat are sublime. I can’t recommend the fresh pineapple ginger juice enough, it’s the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

Delicious oxtails rice and beans was delicious. The only criticism I really have is could have been more cabbage and less mixed vegetables. Plantains with superbly tasty. I even have photos toda

I came here a couple of weeks ago! I ordered their oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. I thought the oxtail was good but I thought it could’ve been cooked longer. The oxtail was kinda hard and not falling off the bones like I’m used to.
