Ok so we arrived and who we later learned is the owner sat us and got us drinks. This confused the servers as they all assumed another server had us. After waving someone down, we eventually gave our order. It took a while for the food, but the food was actually great. We had the BLFGT (aka the bigfoot) and it was delicious

Cool place, Adam was an awesome bartender, fried pickles and loaded fries were good. The “Bigfoot” was amazing. A little messy but definitely worth the extra napkins.

Entrées were great but the desserts were a big let down.

I have lived in Ruston for over ten years and decided to go on Friday because I am moving away soon. I have been to dawghouse recently so my hopes were not high, but I wanted to give it a chance for old time’s sake. This was a mistake! The food(a burger), as usual was over cooked. However, this time you could taste the burned flavor much more than usual. I, nor my friend, could finish our food. On top of that, we ordered drinks(10 dollars each, way over price compared to the completion) and they were watered down and served on Styrofoam cups. If you’re going to charge that much you should have better cups. The fries had clearly been cooked earlier and simply reheated. I don’t write this to bash but something needs to change. This place was once great but now the food is almost inedible. There have been times I ordered fried pickles in the recent past and they are way over salted as through they were cooked in super old grease. Fixing these issues with food quality should be easy to do but it seems management/ownership does not care to do so as these issues have existed even before the remodel. Also, why are there no napkins on the tables??? Where is the silver wear? These are things patrons should not have to wait for a server to give them.

We had a big group. Around 40 give or take. We had 1 waitress that could not do it on her own. We were nice. We needed things here and there like refills and things. This waitress said to her COO worker that she was over it and didn’t care who heard. We went to a manager that looked at us crazy for asking to get our waitress help because she could not handle a large group by herself. A girl sitting at the bar, jumped up with attitude and said, oh I’ll help her. And she did, she did help her and things started flowing ok. But an 18% tip from each ticket was ridiculous for the food and service that we experienced. We will never go back to that place. Do better Dawg House! Do better.

When it comes to sports pubs, this is not a bad little place to grab a bite and watch the game. Our food was good and we enjoyed it. The amount of time that we had to wait to get that food, was a little bit much for a Tuesday. The waitress was very kind and kept our drinks filled but the kitchen was dragging their feet. if you’re looking for a quick in and out, this is not your place. but if you have time I would give it a shot. oh, and they should probably check the bathrooms a little more often. Someone had had one too many and ruined the bathrooms.

Slowwwwwwwwwwww and a “convenience fee” added to our ticket. No where to park, and if there is a spot good luck getting a full size vehicle into it. Food is mediocre at best. Chicken strips should be a relatively easy thing to do but somehow they still manage to take 45 minutes and over cook them. Fries were soggy and cold, while chicken was hot it was so tough and overcooked. Place is nice but half the TV’s were off. Why have them if you don’t use them? Waitress was nice enough but the whole process took dang near 1.5 hours.

We were driving through Ruston for holiday travel and wanted to see/try the revamped Dawg House. Our service was excellent and the food was delicious! The spinach artichoke dip and our quesadillas (Buffalo and chicken bacon ranch) were exactly what we wanted after being on the road for 12+ hours! The dog friendly patio really sold us. Beautiful new space and delicious food! Let’s get that place packed!

I’m only giving a 2 because the atmosphere is nice. However, what isn’t nice is our waiter was more concerned with flirting with tables than actually serving. The table next to us sat down after us and had received and finished their meals (with a different waiter) before ours ever made it to the table. 90% of our meals were cold and did not taste good. This was a staple when I was I was a student at Tech and now I’m sad to say I will not be coming back. The service and food was not worth the price and the 2 hours spent there.
