My mother, daughter and I were passing through on our way to Fredricksburg yesterday for a Mothers Day trip and had a hard time finding somewhere to eat. Now we realize that it was a God thing. After googling and calling to see if they were open, we headed over. They met us at the table with a cup of beans right off the bat – which was great because by that time we were starving! We are huge buiscut and gravy girls so that is what we all got and they did not disappoint. I also had a side serving of their cranberry and stuffing with some lemon pie to go. Not only were we unanimous in CP being the best restaurant food we have had in a while, but the women there made you feel like family. This will now be our go to when out this way.
