Williams Sub Shop has a real mom and pop atmosphere. This eatery has been in Pinellas County for as long as I can remember. I believe they established around 1958. If you’re in the area and looking for a good sandwich, please give them a try, and you’ll enjoy it.

You don’t need atmosphere for the fabulous subs from William’s. The yum yum is delicious and one of their specialties. Get a sub (turkey supreme!) on a salad for a great carb-free and healthy treat!

We were told good things about your sub shop from people that have been going for decades so we tried it really wanting to like it. When we walked in the 2 ladies at the front were not very nice or attentive but we stayed anyways because it wasn’t about them but the food we wanted to try. I got the Italian and my fiance got the roast beef. I thought it was good, that was until I woke up at almost exactly 12 hours later with it coming out of both ends of me. Not very pretty or something i want to happen again. Might have been a fluke but not willing to try again after throwing up for hours!

I had heard great things about this place and a sub called the Yum Yum Club. I want in the other day and before I set foot inside I knew it was good as I could smell the oil and bread upon walking up to it. It’s a mom and pop shop that’s been around for over 30 years.

These are the full size Yum Yum Club and the Meatball sub for $7.20 and $7 respectively at William’s Sub Shop in Tyrone, St. Petersburg! This is a small casual hole in the wall with the atmosphere of a homier Subway. If I lived or worked next to this place, I’d make it a regular staple of my diet. It’s VERY reasonably priced, it’s got high quality ingredients that they don’t skimp on, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and it just overall feels like the kind of place that when you walk in, they nod at you and say “Hey, Chuck. The usual?” And I LOVE that! It’s what St. Pete thrives on! That being said, the casual appeal of the joint also makes it hard to rave about it in an exciting narrative, the way I may have done with other places.

Good local sub shop with reasonable prices and quality ingredients. The red potato salad was excellent in texture and had a great flavor. Was able to sample the tuna macaroni salad and this dish is worth the trip alone, a must try if you like tuna. I had an Italian Delight and a Tuna. The Italian had quality meats in good quantity as well. The tuna was also excellent. Both were on an excellent sub roll as well. Overall, if in the area and wanting a deli sandwich from a good local place that been around for generations, this is a good pick

GF went in to order a yum yum salad. The 20yo behind the counter huffed and puffed and made it clear we were bothering her. Thinking she might be having a bad day we tipped $5. The salad is $9.xx. Grumpy pants only hands us back 17 cents saying we gave her a $10 when we gave her a 20. She wasn’t paying attention even when we ordered and then argued until the gf gave up. Got home and the salad was made wrong with key ingredients we specifically asked her not to put in the salad plus the wrong dressing.
