This restaurant feels like home to me. I grew up with a Korean mother and grandmother who married my father in the military. I love their food. It’s always fresh and traditional. I hope more people come try it. It’s slightly more expensive then the average Japanese cuisine place but it’s worth it because it’s actually Korean. They also carry Cass beer . I couldn’t be more happy with them and my experience. I’ve been here 6times now every other Saturday waiting for a mishap, but they always give best quality of service. They also have grilling at the table with a griddle. The meat quality is outstanding and as fresh as it gets.

I’ve only ever ordered the veggie giant dumplings and the Korean corn dog. Dumplings are fantastic! The corn dogs on the other hand are literally just fried cheese no meat. Ordered a second time giving benefit of the doubt that maybe bad shipment/order if it isn’t done in house. Nope still. I’m sitting here eating friend cheese on a stick covered in sugar It’s good don’t get me wrong but I want a corn dog not fried cheese.

*UPDATE* When they remade my vegetarian/glutton free tacos, they threw in the special surprise of a small dead fish. Will not be ordering again, this is wild and beyond disappointing..

How did I not know about this place? Really great Korean Fried Chicken – the wings are decently sized. Had a 20 minute ride home and they were still crispy. Quite easy to order online, and when one item was unavailable the owner called to let me know and immediately refunded the difference. Just wish it were closer to me!

I had not heard of Hola Seoul before and tried it on a whim – it was delicious! I will definitely order again and I plan to bring some to my friends! I used GrubHub. I had the Seoul Giant Vegetable Dumplings, Red Bean Buns, and Duk Bok Ki.

Hola Seoul offers some great takeout options — prices are reasonable and the food quality is good, it presents a great value for the cost as well. The portion sizes are solid and I’d say 2-3 tacos would easily fill up the average person. Their Kimchi fries are decadent and honestly probably a bit too rich for my palate, but still packed with great taste, and make a good option to share with a large group.

My friend and I ordered from the Novi location; shareable korean corn dogs , with a quantity of four, menu describes cheese and sausage. All four corn dogs did not have the sausage included just cheese, fries taste frozen.

Apart from the food being beyond mediocre and subpar. They charged me 10 dollars over the menu price and claimed they didn’t change online menu pricing as yet, this was a few months ago and they still haven’t changed the menu price online. Plus they have two business names under this location one is Dae Jung Keum and the other is Hola Seoul. I don’t know what scam they trying to run but charging as you please when the customer comes to collect their food is totally unacceptable.
