I was told to drop by because this was the best pizza in the Lynchburg area, and I would absolutely agree! Everyone was incredibly friendly. You order at the counter and then sit and they bring you your order. The crust was the perfect mixture of thin and thick. It’s done in an oven so it had a little char on the bottom, which was delicious! My only suggestion is that I would love to have regular plates if I’m dining in.

Just had the cheese, Margherita, Bee sting, white pizza and the JoJo special(spinach mushroom) for 7 of us. Wow! Excellent! Fresh ingredients, interactive staff. Thin crust and delicious. I stop here every time I’m in town.

We love this place!!! The pizza is fantastic and each one features top notch ingredients. Always fresh out of the brick oven and crazy good! One bite and you’ll know you’ve hit serious quality. These guys take pride in their craft and Sourdough is the only place we get pizza out.

The pizzas are amazing here! Great quality and fresh ingredients. If you like thin pizza, this is the place to go! The Bee Sting pizza is amazing and a side of cinnamon butter for the crust is worth it! It’s a great family owned business and really catered to our large group of people and small kids. Can’t wait to come back!

Best pizza in town!! I love that everything is fresh but definitely not lacking at all in flavor! Seeing the bags of King Arthur flour, fresh basil plants, fresh garlic- every ingredient is real, chemical free, and amazingly delish! The owners are absolutely lovely, wonderful people. ❤️ Our favorite so far is the delicious margarita pizza- my sons top pick is the bbq chicken, and my youngest adores the cheesy garlic bread dipped in marinara. And my daughter could eat their sourdough loaves by the dozen! Yummm! Highly recommend it all!!

Amazing experience! Called in a pickup order and arrived 10 min early, paid for my food and waited around a few min. When I get my food I realize that there’s an extra box so I tell them it’s not mine and the cook says no it’s a little extra for your wait! Dude I was early but thanks for the free garlic cheese bread. Great staff and the pizza is phenomenal! 10/10 for sure!

Our family loves Sourdough Pizza, it is by far the best pizza in Forest/Lynchburg area, the Neapolitan style sourdough crust and high quality ingredients sets them apart. We drive from Appomattox when we want pizza. Also, their sourdough bread makes the best sandwiches.

I’ve actually eaten at 2 Dave Portnoy’s “top 5 pizza joints in the USA” and I can comfortably tell you that sourdough pizza is still my favorite. The quality of food, the care taken into ensuring that quality is within every pizza, and the joy that all of the employees take in making their product is unmatched, and by a significant margin. I tell anyone unfamiliar with the area to check this place out, and I urge anyone who is a pizza connoisseur to eat here. Everyone will agree it’s the tops.

Amazing atmosphere! The PIZZA was top notch, wood-fired, very flavorful. It made my 50th birthday terrific!! The owner was super friendly with my three and six year old children. He knows his product and why it is better. Better, healthier ingredients is what makes this so good. Keep in mind pizzas are very well advertised: 12 inches and comes in a box. The pizzas are cut into six slices. Two pizzas fed our family of four very nicely. Blue cheese pepperoni with red onion pizza and a margherita pizza were our choices, which hit the spot! Super clean restaurant out front with a very nicely decorated bathroom. We WILL be back!!!!! Thank you very much for a terrific time!
