With its history reaching back into the early days of Hayward’s birth, this legendary establishment has always been known for great food and honest cocktails. Originally established as The Aladdin in 1931, it has seen its share of early lumberjacks, entrepreneurial timber tycoons, notorious Chicago gangsters and generation after generation of supper club tradition.
Today, we are happy to carry on the family business offering a classic supper club menu specializing in hand cut steaks & chops, walleye, local cheese curds, Friday Fish Fry, Saturday Prime Rib, classic cocktails and an extensive wine list.
We thank you for sharing your evening with us and hope you enjoy our take on ‘northern hospitality’.
Cheers,
~ Nathan & Haley

We didn’t know you NEED to reservations. We sat at the bar and had excellent service by Hailey. We had walleye with Wild rice cakes, they were delicious. I got the seafood trio and everything just melted in my mouth. My husband had a 16oz ribeye and it was done to perfection. Last but not least, the Pink Squirrel for dessert. All delicious! Definitely going back and highly recommend!

Warm, welcoming, & treated us like family! Brandy half sweet old fashioned was great!! & the Manhattan with 46 parallel rye whisky from New Richmond, WI was recommended by local couple drinking at the bar waiting to sit in the dining room. Get a reservation! But we sat at the bar and loved it!

Unfortunately, the execution of most of our food wasn’t great. The relish tray left much to be desired, our seafood was overcooked including the lobster tail, and there was a foil wrapper in one of the salads. We did, however, enjoy the old fashioneds, the cheese curds, and the ambiance. You don’t know a place until you try it, but as a result we won’t be going back.

I have been going to the Ranch for over 20 years. Consistently good food and service. It is your stereotypical supper club. I really like the walleye, scallops, ribs and steaks. It can get busy so call for reservations.

Great place, versatile menu, a piece of history. We enjoyed our entrees and relish plate. We also had Our little one who enjoyed the food as well. The staff and guests were very welcoming, we really felt at home.

Filet steak poor quality and had plenty of fat plus not seasoned very well. Cheese curds, Salmon and hash browns were good. Grasshopper ice cream drink good. Service average. Overall slightly disappointed for the money and would probably not go back.

The staff here are great. They are friendly and very accommodating. I enjoyed the pre-dinner spread and my steak was so tender and delicious I was in heaven. Two thumbs way up.

Had dinner there last evening with my friend. I had the filet and she had the prime rib. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Loved the relish tray and the Old Fashion’s. I can not remember our servers name but she had a beautiful stone necklace which she said her niece made for her. She was absolutely fantastic!
