The food is nasty. I’m sorry please change the fire wood you’re using. Add some type of seasoning or marinade for flavoring. I ordered half slab of ribs “sauce on the side”, 10 wing mild, baked beans, & potato salad. The only thing that was good was the baked beans. I spent $50.00 what a waste of money. Maybe tear down the pit and rebuild. The food is nasty.

First and last time to try this place. Zero welcome. Even told the lady who took my order that this was my first time visiting-absolutely not friendly. Ordered fish dinner with one side (greens). Slab of ribs. Pint of potato salad. Small banana pudding. The ribs were dry, tough and not edible. Literally had to spit the meat out it was so tough. Greens had an odd burnt taste to them. Potato salad was just okay. Definitely NOT worth the $60 I just paid.

The food was great as always however while I was there the manager or owner was yelling at one of the young ladies at the register & while the other young lady was trying to complete my order I couldn’t hear her due to him reprimanding her out at the front register. I had to repeatedly ask her to repeat herself because he was just that loud. I understand management has the unfortunate duties of reprimanding employees but there is a right way to do it which is definitely not out in front of customers. Very poor taste. I’m a regular customer but will have second thoughts about returning due to this incident.

The guy with the fro touched his hair/ scratching his head 3 times in a 15 min period. He opened cooler/freezers and grabbed food, made drinks, and worked a station momentarily. Him and the front girl were passing a phone and texting while NEVER washing hands. A man ate and left, no one cleaned his table. I didn’t see any manager making things happen. They were just singing and talking and what was told as a 5 minute wait turned into a 15 min wait due to this nonsense. I don’t recommend this place at all. It’s an infection waiting to happen.

The double meat Turkey was good. The brisket is great. I would not order the fried squash, but I’m not going to ding them for that. It was a bit oily. The people are nice and not the normal for what you expect off Dunn.

Thought I would give this place a try for the first time today but it was a complete waste of my time. Before I ordered; I asked the cashier how many sides come with a rib diner and she responded “two”. As I was ordering she said “ it was only one” how clueless do you have to be to work somewhere and not even know how many sides come with an entree. Complete space cadet!!! No way in hell I’m ordering a meal with one side when every other restaurant comes with two sides. What a joke

Well this place has been here for a long time and I finally decide to try it so I went for lunch and I got you fried pickles with ranch I’ve also got the three meat salad beef sausage and turkey very very amazing I went back for dinner that day I got the chicken dinner unfortunately I wasn’t impressed the chicken was okay at this the collard greens we’re okay then have any flavor the Mac and cheese was terrible when I go to places I like to try multiple things to see what’s good and not good so all honesty I recommend that salad I definitely will come back for the salad
