Hidden gem on the river. The server was AWESOME! She was cheerful & helpful! Tried the combo with 2 meats. Fried Catfish filets, exactly what I was hoping for, so delicious. I really wasn’t impressed with the pork, didn’t have a taste to it & the texture was mushy. Tried both yellow (mustard) & white (mayo) slaw. They both were good. Fried okra was good & not over battered. Loved how they do hush puppies. The pork sandwich with white slaw is the other picture.

Very good experience! My family has lived in the Deep South for generations, and I know very well what good catfish is, and it’s easy to tell when someone doesn’t know what they’re doing. The folks here know exactly how catfish to be prepared and also make quality sites that are delicious and fill you up!

Fantastic flavorful southern food! Fresh meat, fish, and vegetables, all we had was delicious (we came as a family of 5). Friendly service, pretty interiors. Make sure you get there while it’s light: the view of the lake from the window is so gorgeous! Iconic little place, best dinner after Unclaimed Baggage bash!
