We came in for a late lunch to grab two burritos. The surfing California and the Azteca asada burrito with a Jarritos and water. The burritos were good, but the Surfing California was way better than the Azteca. The tortilla was fresh, the ingredients were fresh and our order was served in under 10 minutes. Parking on the street can be an issue if you come during busy hours. The sitting area was a little dirty (not bad, just needed some tables wiped down) and the space does feel cramped. Overall the value of the food was okay. For the price I did expect a bigger serving or chips included, but I’m still happy with our experience and will likely come back to try other dishes. For two burritos and a drink with a tip our bill was just over $30. We did not go into the bar attached to the restaurant but it looked clean and spacious.

I have been on a 2 year quest to find a burrito that comes close to San Diego taco shop level and this place might be it! Super generous portion, the California burrito actually had the things it’s supposed to have, the meat was tasty, and while I was in there a woman went in who was clearly struggling and asked for food and the staff gave her a free burrito. Awesome, quick service plus compassion. I’ll be back for taco Tuesday, I saw a sign for cheap tacos and $4 coronas!

The bar is incredible! Beautiful and gleaming, offering a huge selection of tequilas. The gentleman serving me knew each label, where they came from, and thoughtful information about each one. Clearly he loves what he does and provides a memorable experience serving excellent beverages. What a delight to find this cool little bar when I just stopped in to get take out food!

Looking for best Margarita. Checking this place off the list. The food all tastes the same. Boring. The atmosphere is like a funky Mexican tienda with no air circulating. The margarita was also mediocre and I ordered a higher end tequila. Not sure where the 4.5 ratings were from. Keep trying!

I have left 3 food reviews my entire 38 years of life….this is my 4th. I’m selective when it comes to eating authentic, Mexican food…and I also have an extraordinarily picky 7 year old daughter who only eats 3 items off of any restaurant’s menu…AND we are both vegetarians. I’m happy to report that my checklist was more than checked off! They have delicious food, great portions and very good prices! I will definitely be coming back.

To begin, loved the service of ordering online and having pickup ready to go. And while the burritos had an authentic flair to them, they didn’t quite live up to the hype in terms of size or flavor. Just didn’t think the value was justified compared to some of the other places around.

My boyfriend and I both got violent food poisoning from the burritos we ate last night. This was our third and unfortunately last time dining here- we ordered in the last hour and I’m guessing we ate something that had been kept out of temperature.

My wife and I got burritos here and it was one of the worst burritos I’ve ever eaten. 90% of it was old beans and rice, with a little pocket of undercooked meat with avocado at the bottom. It tasted bland, and the tortilla was stale yet soggy. Absolutely disgusting. Will not be ordering from here again.

Several issues of missing or wrong items that have been delivered through Doordash. There is no easy way of getting your items or a refund. I’ve been told to place a second order through doordash and pay all the fees just to get the correct items.
