The food was fantastic. I don’t usually remark on presentation but I liked how they plated everything here! The salmon skin roll was thinly sliced and had just the right amount of sauce underneath. We also had a lunch bento – such great value! Our server Tanner was so friendly and took great care of our table!

Outstanding sushi. Fresh and light and authentic. We had a boat filled w sushi. This is a must try. In addition we had 3 rolls and 4 appetizers… all was delicious. This is my new spot when i come to morro bay.. for sushi atleast. The was a 30 minute wait, Sunday evening, Easter Sunday.. they are popular AND righteously so. A gem of a place!

We stopped in on a Monday night around 8pm and they were super busy, so we had a 20ish minute wait. (Not every table was sat, but they told us the kitchen was behind, so they weren’t seating until they were caught up.) It was absolutely worth the wait! I ordered the spicy rainbow roll, which was delicious and very fresh. My husband ordered the OMG roll, which has no rice and it was really great and different. We also sat at the bar so it was fun to watch the chef make this roll.

We come here often when visiting Morro bay. Great tasting sushi and dishes. I recommend the Red hot chili rolls and the ultimate salmon, ask for it seared, so delicious! The eel!! The noodle bowls and rice bowls are also so good. My kids even love the beef teriyaki kid plates and they try the rolls ! Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere, and great place to eat overall.

Enjoyed a nice dinner on a busy President’s Day, the wait was well worth the quality of the food. The staff was definitely busy, from our server who had and could jump behind the counter with the sushi chef’s to the hostess keeping it light with the guests that were wanting to get in for dinner. Everyone was professional and very kind. My cousin and I enjoyed a seaweed salad, the rose, cali and I think the tiger roll. We also got a pitcher of Sapporo and dessert, because why not.

Came here at opening on a Saturday for lunch, and it was completely empty. Our waiter was extremely attentive and took care of us. The Chicken Karaage was super crisp and good flavor. The 3 rolls we got (rose, black widow, tuna temptation?) were all fresh and had some really good flavors. The heat of the chili oil really sneaks up on you, just be warned. Would definitely come here again. The view from our table was also beautiful, which is a plus.

Sushi chef (younger male) is not hospitable and extremely rude when you try to speak with him. Why else sit at the sushi bar if you can’t talk to the sushi chef, but here I have yet to be able to ORDER from the chef and have never been greeted. I’ve gone here while being the only patron and when there were 3 others at the bar. We all commented on the staff and inability to order. Rude is an understatement.
