The food was above average on some items and not so much on others. We ordered orange chicken, shrimp pad Thai, crab puff, pork egg rolls and a black sugar milk tea. The orange chicken was very good and not overly sweet. It was white meat and not over breaded. We asked for pork pad thai and the lady wouldn’t even entertain that thought. It was shrimp or chicken and no substitutes. We got shrimp and it was delicious with loads of fat prawns and again it was less sweet and very flavorful. The crab puff was not good. It was all fake crab and no cream cheese. The texture was unpleasant. The egg rolls were all wrapper and I didn’t find any pork in mine. The black sugar milk tea was perfect. So it was good and bad. I will go back but never order the two unfortunate appetizers again. Our total was $50.

They have a wide variety of food and good egg rolls. I had their vermicelli bowl. It was a good Americanized version of the Vietmanese staple. It normally comes with egg roll, pork, and shrimp. I asked for them to hold the shrimp & they offered extra pork. It had a good flavor and the veggies were fresh. I say Americanized because it had shredded iceburg lettuce instead of romaine, julienned carrots that were not pickled and no dakon radish. This would be a great place to take your friend or relative to try something new without diving into the deep end. If you are used to authentic, it is close enough for a good lunch.

I had the Pho with rare steak and brisket and my husband had a curry noodle dish, they even made his with pork per his request. Great service, very attentive. Overall very pleased with the whole dining experience. Thank you

Mildewy and wilted veggies. Spots on the limes that are so dry that you can’t squeeze any juice out. Jalapeños with no moisture left to them. No Sriracha or hoisin sauce was provided. We waited 50 minutes for our take-out order and when we asked why other people that had come in after us had already been served they said it was because we had to wait because we were takeout. We were like what are you talking about what’s the difference we could’ve eaten here in this amount of time. Super rude staff and no silverware to boot. This is the third bad experience I’ve had with these people I’m not doing it again.

Let’s start with the staff, very friendly and attentive, restaurant is clean but kinda crowded, low score because the food is definitely not Vietnamese at all. The shrimp spring rolls are just pieces of shrimp with shredded lettuce… the crab puffs tasted horrible, long story short don’t expect anything close to traditional Vietnamese food. There’s better places around town that are family owned and more authentic.

I absolutely love this place. The pho is so delicious, served hot with fresh ingredients. The chili wontons are one of my favorites. I tried the seafood combination pho and it was good as well. But I think my favorite is the beef pho. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and are attentive to needs. This really is the best Pho in Salem.

Cute lil restaurant with a nice interior with a semi open kitchen which is really fun to watch especially on dates! There is also a Ramen shop and another Asian restaurant all in the same parking lot which is super convenient and this area is a new favorite hot spot for me! The dishes are priced very fairly and the quality and speed at which the food came was perfect! Staff was very friendly as well.

A delightful spot for great Pho! I started with the Edamame with the Garlic Soy sauce, absolutley delicious with great flavor. Then an order of the Chili wontons which had just the right punch of heat paired with a tender yet flavorful filling. The main course was their #101 Rare steak, Brisket, Tendon, Tripe and Beef Balls. This had temendous flavor, deep rich broth, tender meat. Overall this whole meal was a delight and the staff was attentive to all our needs and willing to make menu recommendations. I’d highly recommend Simply Pho if you’re looking for a high quality meal, quick and delicious!
