Pretty good sushi place, great lunch bento box. The decor is pretty good, the staff are nice. They have some vegetarian dishes, but no a lot. The food leans towards the sweeter side. The portion size is generous, so pretty good value for money. One weird thing is that they charge $2 for each plate of extra rice. The service is a bit slow.

Koi is always a rememberable Chinese restaurant providing yummy authentic Chinese food. It is quite near the LSU campus so very walkable for a lunch/dinner if you are at LSU. Sadly though it was closed early this year where I heard the rumor that the chief chef had retired and his son did not want to follow his father’s footstep to become a terrific chef at Koi. I just finger crossed that one day there would be another sweet Chinese restaurant at the same location!

Love this place. I always get cumin chicken and gyoza dumplings. They also have very good sushi collection. Totally worth the visit.

very quiet spot, right off of LSU’s campus. nice and quick service and was very happy with my roll (Sarah roll). Pricing was pretty reasonable from what I saw, too.

I visited Koi for the first time last night and am planning to become a regular at this establishment. My table service was great, sushi rolls were delicious and menu items are reasonably priced.

We were given glasses of water that smelled like dirty mop water. I tipped my finger in it and it tasted bleachy. I told the server that our water smelled and tasted off. He said there was nothing wrong with it. Then he just looked at me and smiled. Horrifying experience.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but Koi has the best kung pao chicken in the world. Soooo good. I moved far away a decade ago, and I still try to come back to Koi anytime I’m in town. I’m always delighted to see the restaurant still open for business. Be warned it is spicy, but I love that. It is one of my top 5 restaurant dishes of all time (and I eat more in a month than most people do in a year!)

I had an hour of lunch and drove over to try this location with my partner. To my surprise, they have a sushi and hibachi lunch buffet! We really enjoyed it! For hibachi, you choose your ingredients and they make it for you. The waitress even brings the hibachi to your table! The sushi they have is simple and pretty plain sushi BUT it wasn’t bad for a buffet. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch and will return in the future!

They have good sushi and most importantly they are greatly priced. I didn’t see too much imagination when it came to their specialty rolls, but that doesn’t mean that the sushi was any less better than their competitors.
