Pretty good taste of curry chicken. One container enough for two of us. Not too spicy, the heat leaves in good time. Buffet on weekends only. But menu open Mon thru Fri. Parking on sidestreets. Resonable pricing.

Had ordered malabar chicken biryani and pothichrou. Pothichoru was tasty and malabar biriyani is not the malabar biriyani. I even asked before ordering that if it was malabar biriyani. He said yes. But the biriyani didn’t have the taste of malabar biriyani. Please don’t call it malabar biriyani it is just rice mixed with some sort of chicken curry. Please take down the name malabar biriyani from your menu or if you really want to have it in your list and quality food service please research on malabar biriyani and serve it.

Extremely bad experience, poorest customer service we ever had. Our first experience was really worse, while we were dining, one man working there was shouting to their customer through phone in a very bad language which completely spoiled our mood. But we went there again because that is one of the rare place that serve Kerala food. The second experience was extremely worse and we had the exact similar experience like one of the other reviews about this hotel. We called at 5pm and asked to confirm if the restaurant closes at 9pm, since that is the time given in google. They said they will close kitchen at 8.30pm. We drove all the way from Connecticut to there and reached there at 7.50pm. Their behavior was so arrogant and after ordering, immediately after giving the food, their comment was.. “don’t ask for anything else” which was extremely arrogant. They were continuously asking us if we are done eating and rushing us to eat in a hurry and forcing us to leave. The food costs us a lot and their attitude was this. Try yourself there if only you crave for Kerala food which is average too. They served in paper plates too.

Unbelievably arrogant customer service irritating and shouting at customers, giving zero value for the customers and not even thinking that they exist because of the customers and their money. Felt like they are treating us like people begging for food, not buying. Some food was okay and some was really worse. Price is too high for most dishes. Begged them to give some gravy for porotta for our vegetarian friend and they said they won’t give gravy and add more gravy to the already ordered dishes and asked her to eat porotta with moru (curd) curry. Was rushing us to finish eating and leave so that they can close the restaurant at 8.30 as opposed to their google time (9pm). We will never go again and never recommend anyone there. Spoiled our mood for the entire day.

I usually don’t write reviews but this place refused to answer my questions over the phone. I called a week prior to my event because I had to get all the information before placing the order, but the OWNER of the place told me to “call again later” because they’re “too busy”, that too in a rude and dismissive tone. Good businesses don’t shut down their customers solely because they’re busy, they figure out a way. It would’ve taken him 2 minutes to answer my questions anyway. Never calling or considering this place again.

Serves the most “authentic”homestyle Kerala (South Indian) dishes served at a restaurant/catering establishment in the NY/NJ metro area.

Your party may be ruined if you order any Biriani for your family or friends. I ordered a tray of mutton Biriani ($300)for a family gathering and the food was so disgusting that everyone threw it out. It was fortunate that we also ordered Italian dishes from another Italian restaurant, which were more than sufficient to satisfy all of our guests. It has been advised to me by people who know him not to speak with him since he is an angry individual if questioned.

The other day, I purchased Kappa Biryani, which is a yucca biryani. Unfortunately, I was only able to consume a small portion before having to throw it away. It appeared that they had prepared the dish several days in advance and were storing it until it was fully served to customers.
